I was from out of town visiting and the weather was nice so wanted to do some touring on e-bikes (if you haven’t done this, you should. It is an awesome way to explore new places). Didn’t know anything about renting e-bikes and found this place by googling. Sent an email at 8 am on a Saturday requesting four bikes. Thought there was no way it was going to happen but you miss 100% of the shots you don’t take, so I took it. Chris got right back to me before nine and said he had two bikes for me and was hunting down two more. After less than an hour, he located two more bikes from nearby - a friend. He delivered the bikes to my son’s house and we had an incredible day with his finance. The bikes (Himiways) were great and easy to learn and allowed for various levels to keep up with each other. The bikes themselves were in great shape (basically new) and well equipped with accessories e.g., bags, lights, lock, charger. We even got a rack to load them on the back of our truck. Fantastic experience and very fairly priced. Gave me his phone number in case we had any questions, and we did have one which he promptly answered. Will be using him every time I go back to NC. Can’t recommend him highly enough.

So much fun! The e bikes are sooo comfy and easy to ride, my son barely got off his. This is THE best way to see a college campus. We toured every nook and cranny of Chapel Hill on these bikes. The best part is delivery and pick up…zero hassle. The owner, Chris, is super nice and accommodating.

I can’t say enough great things about Chris! From the moment I reached out, he went above and beyond to ensure I had the best experience possible. His passion and knowledge for bikes is clearly evident. The bike was top-notch—smooth, fast, and perfect for exploring the area without breaking a sweat. Everything was well-maintained and super clean, and Chris even took the time to explain how everything worked before I set off. He even swung by a couple times when I had minor issues to address them in person. Chris is a great dude and HIGHLY recommend renting from him.

Highly recommend working with Chris & Beall’s Bicycles if you are new or experienced with e-bikes, but especially new! My friends and I rented bikes from Chris for a mountain trip, he was extremely helpful in providing how-to and tips which made my first time using e-bikes seamless and enjoyable! Also a wide range of variety for different users/needs!

Chris was easy to connect with, set a time and get bikes. Choice between e-bikes or conventional. We chose e-bikes for an easy tour of near by trails. Trails in Raleigh area are spectacular E-bikes were in good condition and Chris explained all we needed to know about them. Would definitely rent from them again.
