I am a senior, and was looking to get an E bike due to a knee injury. I had never ridden one before, and was pretty nervous. Christian was extremely helpful in assisting me in finding a bike that fit me comfortably (I am 5‘11“) I had many questions, and Christian spent a lot of time patiently explaining every aspect of the bike to me. (Without making me feel stupid lol) He gave me tips on how to use pedal assist, the throttle, the display, etc. - even tecommending that I use an outlet timer so i dont have to worry anout overcharging the battery! I ended up finding a bike after several test rides that was perfect for me. He even took videos of me riding, so that I could see how I was positioned on each bike I was testing. It was a great purchasing experience - and I also love the fact, that should I ever need repairs-they are full service repair shop!

I recently brought my e-bike into Becky's Bikes for some repairs and the service I received was outstanding! When I entered the shop, the staff greeted me with warmth and professionalism. The gentleman I dealt with was Christian. He took the time to thoroughly inspect my bike and explained the issues in detail and made sure I understood what needed done. What really stood out was how he went above and beyond; after inspecting my bike he took the time to address some minor issues that I had not even noticed. The repair took about a week but it was well worth the wait. The cost was very reasonable considering the high level of service they provided. I left the shop feeling like I was riding a brand-new bike! I highly recommend Becky's Bikes to anyone looking for an e-bike to purchase or has one for repair or general maintenance.

I wanted to share my experience of searching for a Ebike. I knew what I wanted cause I already had a ebike but I needed a cruiser for my wife. I called 4 bike shops in Chicagoland and most people never even took their time to listen to what I exactly was looking for all they wanted me to come down and test drive. When I called Becky’s ebike spoke to Christian, he took his time explaining different type of bikes and with his extreme knowledge and passion for bikes in a matter of 3 minutes on a phone I had my wife’s bike picked that she now loves. I also got a chance to meet the owner of the shop, very nice gentleman that treats his employees like family. Even though this place is far from where I live, it was worth the drive. Thank you Christian for helping me getting my wife exact bike she wanted.

I brought our E-bike for service. On the phone, I was told there was a $100 deposit, which was fine. After getting the bike there (45 minute ride, & not easy to transport as we are seniors), I was told it really was a fee, NOT a deposit. I was stuck so we left it. The bike motor was working intermittently. Also got a tune-up and tire tube change. $376! Got home and three blocks into the ride, the motor quit again. I called and wanted a refund for the motor work and for the deceptive “deposit”. I would of course pay the $172 the the correct work done. They refused. On the actual bill, it says initial service fee, $100. Be aware.
