  Absolutely one of the worst experiences I have ever had. I had brought two specialized crossroads sport bikes in for repair. I Painstakingly went through exactly what I wanted repaired and replaced on each bike, which included new tubes on all four wheels, the handlebars on one bike, All four brake levers, all four brake cables, all four pair of v- brakes and complete derailer adjustment and lubrication. I was quoted a price of $318 and I paid in advance. I was called and told the bikes were ready a week later and I went in only to find that the tubes have been replaced and the derailer adjustment completed. None of the other work was done, and when the repair guy asked the guy that took the bike in, he said he put all the description of the work in the notes. I called one week later to find out the status only divined that they said parts have not come in yet. That made me angry because they already wasted a week not ordering the parts. They called me another week later and tell me the bike will be ready in the morning. I was in New Orleans the next day and called when I was leaving New Orleans to find out that the bikes were still not ready. I was told they would be ready for when I got there. I went home got my bike rack and drove to Capitol Cyclery Baton Rouge on Essen lane. I got there and the bikes were still not done. He tells me one of the bikes are ready. And I take one look and notice the V brakes have not been changed. The repair guy said he didn’t know that needed to be changed.. Was I extremely Upset? Yes, I was. Did I curse? Yes, I did. The repair guy Said I could have the bikes tomorrow morning, but I told him I needed them today. He then tells me that he would complete the repairs while I waited and got me a chair to sit in. In the meantime, I had a phone conversation with my girlfriend that turned out to be an absolute disaster, which made me even more upset. I finished my conversation with my girlfriend, and noticed my bikes were done.. I asked a guy who turned out to be the manager of the store. To walk one of the bikes out to my car for me And told me I had to settle up with the bill first. I got even more angry And explained to the manager that I pay stinkingly went through each bike and explained what parts I want changed on the bike and I received the price of $318 which I paid for. He says you did not pay for all these extra parts.. It came to $181 I said, but I was quoted the price. The managers response was the person that quoted me. The price was autistic and I should understand because he was autistic. I hit the ceiling. I said so you mean to tell me that you expect me to pay for your employees incompetence as far as being able to give a quote on a bicycle repair? He said yes I should understand. I said you have got to be kidding me. I said you are the responsible party you are the manager of the store , and this is a management problem because you gave an employee a task he was not capable of completing. Expecting the customer to “ understand “!!!!!!!! I was livid Then he asked me do I want the bikes or not so in fact, he was holding my bikes hostage because the bikes were repaired, but was improperly written up by an incompetent employee which then he expected me to pay the difference. Paid the difference to get my bikes, but I promised to give them a write up on this experience. I am also going to contact the Better Business Bureau. I also have a family member who works for Trek In Houston. And they said Trek Has stopped selling to capital Cyclery. I wonder why that could be.

  had a great experience with these folks swapping on new rims/tires -- can recommend! came back and they fixed my kids bike for free (a tricky fix because the skewer is non-standard) — very kind of them

  Went to Jones Creek location. HORRIBLE. The employee acted like he could care less, answered a few questions and then walked off to talk to what appeared to be a friend while we struggled pulling bikes out of the racks to try. Then I noticed him rolling his eyes towards us and whispering to his friend like we were stupid. We went in preparing to buy 2 bikes and walked away with angry feeling towards this store and employee. Can keep your bikes, those brands are a dime a dozen else where.

  I LOVE THIS PLACE! Nothing beats the feeling of genuine, knowledgeable, friendly staff. Ben has been doing a phenomenal job with this location! They are huge supporters of the local biking community. Their excellent service skills are the best in Baton Rouge hands down! As a biking business owner, I wouldn't bring my fleet anywhere else but here!

  This place sucks. I have been in here three times over the last 6 weeks cause it is closest to my house. The service here sucks. No one greeted me ever. the one guy that's always working (Jackson?) always seems like he is completely miserable in his life and really shows that to customers. I won't return to this hole of depression
