As someone new to biking and preparing for my first 70.3, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience at Chainline Bikes. From the moment I walked in, Alex made me feel comfortable with his down-to-earth attitude and spot-on recommendations for the essentials I’d need for my first ride. When I returned for a fitting, I had the pleasure of meeting Joe and Jason—both super knowledgeable and approachable. Joe, in particular, went above and beyond to ensure I was fitted properly and had everything I needed to hit the road with confidence. The prices were also very reasonable, which was a huge plus. Hands down the best bike builders and customer service in San Diego. I drive past at least 5 bike shops on my way to Chainline but worth the drive! I’ve had an SB130 and a frame up custom Revel Ranger built by Joe, Matt, Jason and Chase and still smiling from ear to ear! They build nothing but top of the line MTBs!

THE bike shop for San Diego County! Highly trained and competent technicians that take pride in their work, knowledgeable sales staff who will work with your needs and budget, and a super cool owner who is always ready to talk bikes. Alex is so helpful out on the floor, and Joe is as good of a bike mechanic as any I have ever seen. They have built a world class business with a local feel. I highly recommend them!

Picked up a New Yeti SB130 last week for Jason. What a great experience. This ear guys know what they’re doing. As a former racer and 25 year enthusiast, I can be picky. I didn’t have to do one thing when I went to the store other than finish the transaction. I drove 200 miles from Santa Barbara to pick this up and would do it again in a heartbeat. Thanks again chain line bikes for the amazing experience!

I’ve bought 4 bikes from Chainline over the last few years and have never been disappointed. Alex has carried on the standard Jason set with the right bike for the customer. Shops like this are why I will always go to them rather than “shopping for a deal”. Each bike I buy fits me great with zero complaints and pure enjoyment on the trails.
