Cycle City in River Market is hands down my preferred bike shop in the Kansas City metro! From their deep expertise across all disciplines of cycling to their exceptional attention to detail, this team truly knocks it out of the park. I’ve been a cyclist my entire life and Cycle City is, hands down, the best bike shop I have ever used. Joe & his team are friendly, knowledgeable and just want people on bikes! The bikes and gear they sell are top quality. You can’t go wrong taking your bike in for maintenance - or whatever else you need! They host very fun seasonal and themed rides, too. Absolutely recommended.

My husband commutes via scooter. He has had a flat tire and a couple minor repairs. Cycle City doesn’t even sell scooters, but each time they have gone above and beyond to help him. They have been able to repair his scooter super fast and get him back to the office. We are so lucky to have them in the neighborhood!

Cycle City was awesome to work with. We have purchased 2 bikes from them now, and will always come back for all of our needs. The staff was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. We’ve had nothing but great experiences here, and would definitely recommend using Cycle City for any of your biking needs!

Went here after popping my tire biking around some River Market construction lol- A nice guy named Aaron helped me fix it! Another time the same guy helped me get the right accessories for my bike to make me as comfortable as possible when biking around! The only gripe I have is that I wish they had larger helmets in storage or something- I’m sure I’m not the only one with a lot of THICK HAIR who may need a helmet- and when we need one we shouldn’t have to wait. Bike safety is an urgent issue in my mind- especially for new riders- so I think having an overstock of bigger helmets- even if they don’t get sold- is the best idea. Regardless of having to waste money on a helmet that barely fit- I will be back to order a custom helmet soon because of the amazing, personal, and attentive customer service i received! (´ε｀ )♡
