We stopped by John’s shop last fall while driving through the area. He is such a knowledgeable bicycle enthusiast. The shop is small but he has a great selection of bikes. Fast forward to February 21. My husband wanted to purchase a road bike. Not wanting to spend a lot of money, he searched for a decent used bike online. I encouraged him to contact John, Deluxe Bikes, and check his inventory. He hooked my husband up with a great entry level road bike for a really, really great price. All that’s left is warmer weather to return. Thanks John!

I bought a new bicycle for my grandson for Christmas ; put it together and had a problem with the front brake caliper. I took it to deluxx bicycle repair. The gentleman at the bike shop not only fixed the problem, but made sure the bike was assembled correctly. He was very knowledgeable, professional and accommodating. I would recommend this business to anyone looking for a bike or having one repaired. Thank for your candor and kindness.

This guy seems to know His shit and He is fair. He can have a bit of a short fuse some times but which is completely understandable in my opinion. If you deal with customers all day it is good and bad. I am giving Him four stars because He wouldn't help me with my bike project. I am having my Auto mechanic help me out with it. This is to some one who is an engineer out there as well. Listen can some one come up with a gas powered pedal assist device that is not made in China and or is electric? I want something that I can bolt any weed Wacker engine or mini cross engine to and go. Sure I get it gas stinks but for the money it is the most effective option. I am disabled. I love to ride bicycle but can't afford a electric one because I don't work enough hours to be able to afford one. My body can not handle it. The gas motor would help me get up hill and get me across intersections. I can use the assist device to go farther if I get tired other then that it is considered a motorcycle and I don't want to get a class M. I want something similar to a Velo Solex bike. They had a little weed Wacker engine on the front of them and they used it to ride to the bust stop or ride to the local ferry that was docking. I understand why John couldn't help me but I found the guy I needed and He is fair. All I want is a modern Velo Solex bike that has easy accessible parts. You don't gotta worry about people working on it or having a battery fire. I would build a e-Bike but they add 30 pounds to your existing bicycle. I have a weight limit restriction set at 50LBS due to open heart surgery. The Velo Solex style bike will be used to go where you do not walk or where you can walk. I also got a keep my heart rate low or I will tach out. Gas is too expensive at $3.55 a gallon right now. Just filled up my gas cans for my Outback. We are looking at $35.00 for 10.00 gallons of fuel. That will get me about 5 days. A little bike with a weed whacker motor would be nice!! I also like the older style PUCH and TOMOS bikes for Hills but they are too complex and break down a lot. I would love to find a older moped for $400.00 and get it going for cheap. Thank you John for your help and conversations! I know your busy but your wealth of knowledge is amazing!!

Wonderful customer service! Took a bike in that was given to me to be checked out. The price was very reasonable and the owner even had me sit on it to make sure I had the seat at the correct height. I was looking at the new bikes while I was there and the owner told me that the bike I have was good for my current needs. Not like the big bike shops I have been to that just want to sell you a new bike. If I do purchase a new bike, it will be from here. His prices on new bikes are reasonable, he has a decent selection and I believe he wants to see you get the bike that is best for your needs. And, definitely going here for any service needs.
