Very nice store located right across the street from Oak Brook mall. Everything you need for your biking needs, snowboarding, and skiing. I came here in March and lots of the skiing and snowboarding. Equipment was on clearance. Good time to get some discounted goods. Tons of variety of various bikes, including electric bikes.

A shout out to Erik’s Bike Shop in Oak Brook. Thank you Chad for all your help and letting me test ride every bike. I bought the Aventon 500.3 Step-thru R. Love this one for me. Perfect for my size and allows me to sit upright. I added fenders, a back rack and a mirror. They had my bike ready for pick up the next day. So excited to have my own bike and no more renting. Ride On!!!

Originally deleted my post, but now I’m compelled to repost this. purchased online a new Aventon Aventure 2 on 9/6/2024. Service manager was friendly and helpful on how to operate the bike. Once I left the shop, I notice there's been some mileage recorded on the bicycle. After riding the bike home, I go to lift off the bike and I notice there's a gouge going down to the base metal of the frame. I do a more thorough inspection of the bike and find more nicks and scratches on 2 different parts of the bike. I then match up the cosmetic defects with the 360 video inspection I took before leaving the shop doors and it was all present on the bike. At this point I clearly realize that I WAS CHARGED AT THE PRICE OF A NEW BIKE AND ASSEMBLY FEE FOR A DEMO AND DAMAGED BIKE AND WHICH WAS NEVER DISCLOSED. I come back the next day and show this to the staff and they switched out the bikes without questioning. At this point I realize they also gave me a charging kit with the WRONG corresponding serial number. They also requested to switch the display screens and odometers which I find quite odd. Ethically speaking I don't think that's right to do as you're misrepresenting your product. Not too mention from the law's perspective, I question whether that's legal or not to do. If it was a car it would be considered odometer fraud. Otherwise I'm relieved the exchange was drama free and the new bike is cosmetic damage free. Makes me wonder though, did Chad just drop the ball and didn’t bother to check my original bike over, or was he aware of the damage and decided to pass it on to me see if I’d say anything.

Definitely recommend coming to Erik’s for shopping snow gear when in season. We have come to this location several times, each time met with friendly and helpful staff. Christopher was super helpful every single time in finding us the right boots, board, bindings setup. He is very knowledgeable, provides amazing service and the best tips for gear!

I was very excited to purchase my first snowboard set up. My salesman took the time to learn what style of riding i wanted to do, and took the time to explore every option i had available. He matched my energy and made the visit a very easy going and fun experience. I recommend to all, and especially the beginners because they will spend a lot of time answering every question you may have. 5 stars.
