Saw a bike online I was interested in. I used chat to see if a Kansas City store had the bike in my size. Drove to store, young sales person was knowledgeable and helpful. Sale price was good. Saved shipping cost. Test rode for approx 30 min. Made my purchase and the mechanic gave it a once over while I waited so I didn't have to make a return trip to pick up. Very happy with the experience.

I called in to get a *ballpark* estimate on the replacement of a standard bike hand brake on a handicapped mobility knee scooter... Since the phone system said, "bring your bike and leave it with us...could take a few days...could take a few weeks." What a time to be alive.... Andy wasn't interested in assisting and simply said "we don't do that here." So I called a competitor down the road... He gave me a ballpark and said "bring it in and we'll get you taken care of, most likely same day since February is literally the slowest time of the year." I was in and out of the competitor's shop in 10 minutes for less than $20.

Stopped in to get a bike lock for my bike while traveling. Peter helped me and was outstanding! Every now and then a brand / atore comes along that just takes all others out of competition. That's Eric's bikes. Crazy patient, crazy knowledgeable, and crazy good!

I bought a new bike from Erik's. 58 days later (and 5 rides-all pavement maybe 50 miles) never dropped scratched nothing and my derailleur breaks while peddling at a walk pace with my wife. Response...pound sand! Really dissapointed and lesson learned. No better than a big box store.
