This is the best bike shop in Chicago. Jon and the team are great people bringing amazing unique bikes to Chicago. Their service and communication is amazing. We have bought 3 bikes from them and hope to be back again! You will not regret buying a bike from J.C. Lind!

I bought a Brompton P Line from JC Lind and they gave me a great deal on a great bike. They are a great business with excellent follow-up. I am quite happy with my purchase.

What a wonderful experience. Jon, the owner, was absolutely amazing to work with (and Ben too)! Ben chatted with me via phone first and very patiently answered some questions I had. He was engaged in the conversation, and was very knowledgeable. We asked if we could swing by for a test drive, and they happily accommodated us. When we arrived, Jon really went out of his way and was just fantastic to work with and spent time answering questions and showing the bike to us. We went on a test ride as well. He was so knowledgeable and friendly and helpful. I cannot say enough good things, he genuinely seems to enjoy what he does, and I left there feeling very confident giving him our business - which was really important to us, considering this is the most expensive thing we’ve ever purchased. We like doing business with genuine, kind people who enjoy what they do and provide exceptional service. I highly recommend his shop! We pick up our bike on Wednesday, so now I feel the same way a 5 year old kid feels 3 days before Christmas.

I was a little reluctant to go here. Most of the bikes were out of my price range and I am just trying to get back into cycling after a decades long hiatus. I am middle aged and not terribly fit, but I wanted to start biking with my spouse who is an avid cyclist of vintage Japanese bikes. I don’t feel compelled to write reviews frequently but I loved my experience here! Ben was so kind and really made sure that the bike I wanted would work for my needs. He and Jon, the owner, were both so kind and helpful. They both seem like really nice folks. And even though they sell high end bikes and clearly have a lot to offer an experienced rider, they were so approachable and never made me feel bad for being such a novice. When I came to pick up the bike, Ben gave me a long orientation to my bike. He made sure to let me know that I could come back and call with questions. I just got my Gazelle yesterday but the service there can’t be beat! Thanks so much!

I've never been to Chicago, but I'm so beyond grateful to have found J.C. Lind Bike Co and the owner Jon. I was recently on the hunt for a Brompton c line black edition in turkish green w/mid bar and was having zero luck even through brompton. I'm not one to give up so I continued searching the internet and in my quest I found the exact bike but had a roadblocks making the purchase. Due to said roadblock, which I'm 100% grateful for, I noticed the website offered consumers to either text or email the shop which I did. Communication was almost immediate and it was nice to converse with Jon who happens to be familiar with the city of San Diego and/or the county as a whole; I live in the county along the coast. The bike shop had my exact bike, the transaction was easy, and delivery was without delay. I am over the moon with my new commuter and will consider J.C. Lind Bike Co for future purchases.
