What a great experience! Come to this place as a referral from a friend and puff everything change! Alex and the crew are great mechanics!!! They know what they doing trust the process! The office and the customer service is priceless! Very happy with all!

We went to a few Bike Shops on LI and our last visit was Bicycle Planet. We actually had viewed some YouTube videos of Howard the owner, explaining the different types of bikes, it was very helpful. Me and my Wife has not owned a Bike for over 10 years!! The place looked like a dealership from the outside and had one of the most premium setups we saw. It was super easy to navigate the different types of bikes and test drive them right outside in the parking lot. The Staff is superb and super knowledgable, Evan, Matt and Howard all assisted us at various times of the interaction. We ended up purchasing 2 Specialized Rolls and Matt even assisted with a Trunk Rack install which was awesome. We appreciated all the staff and the genuineness they displayed! We were so pleased, I actually have a 3rd Bike on order for my father! Thanks for everything Bicycle Planet!

Was thinking about getting back into mountain biking. I went to a bunch of shops to talk to some people and see what has changed. Wow a lot changed. Hardest part is that most places didn’t have any inventory. Then I walked in to bicycle planet for the first time in my search. Not only did they have bikes they actually let my hop on and ride them. I got a good education and then had to really decide how crazy I wanted to get. I decided I really wanted a specialized stumpjumper. Now my heights fits into 2 bike sizes. Everybody I asked for advice on line had different opinions. So I called bicycle plant and spoke to Evan told him what I was looking for and he said I had 1 size built and the other in stock. He said I’ll have it built for me. I have him my number and before the day was up he called and told me the bike was built. I couldn’t get there for 2 days because of work. I finally came in and he had it on the side waiting for my. Now with an inventory shortage where so stores have no bikes he held a bike with no money from me without asking. I rode both bikes going back and forth a few times and found my size. Now this sport got way more expensive then I thought it would be so dropping money that some people spend on a car is a big decision. I told him I had to really think this out. He said I will hold the bike for you for a few days. I didn’t even have to give a deposit. That’s pretty good service. Needless to say I came back that night and bought it. The help set my up and dial the bike in for my size and gave me confidence that I have a shop I can trust and have my back with such a large investment. Thanks again Evan.

Purchased three bikes, some shoes, tires/accessories from them and they’ve always been the absolute best. The service department led by Alex is top notch. Had my 29” front fork and rear suspension serviced and they were like new. When I bought a bike for my son and brought it in for its 30 day free service, they replaced a handlebar end cap he lost during a tree clip without even my noting it. That’s the kind of service and attention to detail we appreciate. Thank you to the wonderful team!
