Klauss is a really great person and runs my favorite bicycle shop in town. He helped me tune up a beater bicycle about a decade ago, and today I returned to him to tune up a new bike. He is very fair, very friendly, and knows everything you might want to ask about bikes. Klauss also has a great inventory of bicycles for sale. I highly recommend Lucky's Bicycles for anyone looking for a new bike or a professional tune-up of their existing ride!

I needed a new wheel and they sold and installed one with rim tape that desperately needed replacing (impossible not to notice with the tire/tube off) as it was no longer sticking to the rim, crumbling, and sliding around. The rim was also too deep/narrow for my tires, so it flatted immediately after riding (twice). Either rim depth/width was incompatible with my tires, witch kept the tube from sitting flush on the rim (most likely) or the tap wasn't protecting the tube from the spoke holes. I'm now replacing the rim. Frustrating to be sold something which immediately needs replacing.

a life saver! brought my bike with me on a trip to Richmond and got a flat, had it fixed in a few hours and didn’t hesitate to fix a second surprise flat (in the other tire) when I picked it up.

Excellent repair and adjustment at a very reasonable price. And quick turnaround (made an appointment, dropped bike off in the morning and it was ready that afternoon.) I bought my bicycle from one of the larger shops on Cary St and after multiple visits it still didn't shift smoothly. One quick trip here and it shifts as it should. 100% recommended!

Dropped off my bike as a walk in and they provided a timetable to when they'd get to it - they were accurate. They provided several options for repair from lower to higher cost. I choose the option they recommended and am satisfied with the results. The pricing was fair and the service was quick. I'll continue to frequent this shop for tune-ups and potential bike purchases.
