Took my bike in for a complete tune-up a couple months ago and had great service in helping me figure out what parts to select. Then just had a wheel break today and they were super quick to get a new wheel put on and have me back on the road while I waited. The service team is really helpful and willing to answer questions and take the time to explain what's going on.

There is no other bike shop in Madison where you are as likely to be able to just walk in and get professional, friendly, and competent help on the spot. This has been my consistent experience over at least half a dozen drop ins over the past year. They’ve also been great on something more involved when I had to leave the bike there for a while for service. They communicate very promptly and thoroughly over text, which is much appreciated. Yet another thing they do well is handling warranty stuff and minor recalls and ordering more unusual parts. I gather none of these are big profit generators, but you would not know that from how graciously they want to help.

Great for their friendliness and generosity, particularly in regards to maintenance. I've been very impressed on a couple occasions. One such time, someone came in looking for a match to a particular screw and the mechanic simply gave him one and declined when asked what the price would be. I'm sure it was a fully negligible cost to the shop, but saved this person much difficulty in both finding the right one, and purchasing it in a far greater quantity than needed. MR has also been generous to me with installing parts, and in one case threw in an extra piece to fit the rack I had just purchased rather than charging for the addition once we discovered the rack wasn't immediately compatible.

Chris was great! He took his time, and I learned so much as a novice rider. I’m currently researching clip-on shoes for my bike, and the experience felt like a mini class on cycling. It was incredibly helpful! This store is fantastic for anyone looking to elevate their biking skills.

I was completely satisfied with the products and service! Lauren who I worked with from mid Feb through Mid April was amazing! Patient kind and cordial. She went along with the process and truly knows her stuff! It was great! I worked with Michael a couple times he was great too! Everyone knew me and treated me well. I’d highly recommend this place to anyone who needs a bike! I’m glad I also was able to buy local! Fun place !!
