The posts that Bob is amazing are so very true! We've been dealing with PT Cyclery for a couple of years From him being the master mechanic for a run in XWA to him updating my bike so it is AMAZING to ride, Bob's energy and knowledge and love of bikes is second to none that's for sure! I never realized how much goes into it, but my Trek is a million times easier to ride. He really asks how you ride and will put tons of thought into the project that no amount of money can truly compensate for!!

We rented x2 bikes and a trailer for my 3 year old. I highly recommend PT Cyclery if your looking for great customer service. Bob was very helpful and great at communicating. Looking forward to coming back and renting bikes to explore again!

Quality bikes and quality folks--definitely recommend! I rented a bike from PT for a tour on the Olympic Discovery Trail as I'm from out of state. Bob asked all the right questions to ensure I had a bike that fit my needs-- while also giving the right amount of suggestions and things for me to consider beforehand. When I got into town we spent about an hour together to ensure the bike was set-up as I needed and was on the road. Extremely knowledgeable of the area and willing to go the extra mile to ensure you have a positive experience. Also, willing to ship a bike you fall in love with across the country!

My daughter and I rented a tandem from this shop during our few days in PT and it was a real highlight of the trip. Bob was in constant contact to make sure we got the right bike and that he could be at the shop when we arrived in town. The bike was perfect and in good shape for waht turned out to be an extra rainy June. He gave us all kinds of great recommendations about places to go and has even stayed in contact since we left. Really great guy and we're very happy that we (somewhat randomly) chose this place.

My partner and I just purchased two brand-new bikes from Bob at PT Cyclery (All-City Space Horse and Surly Straggler). I've worked for and been a customer at several bike stores, and I've seen the best and worst of technical expertise, customer service, and attitude...and I'm happy to say that we got the absolute best of all three at PT Cyclery. Bob has been in the industry for well over 20 years, and he's great at guiding with his experience and knowledge instead of pushing it down your throat. I was actually leaning towards a different bike, but after several long conversations with Bob, I went with the Surly Straggler and I'm so glad he took the time to help me figure out which bike would actually be the best fit for me and my riding style. On top of that, he did a rush (but thorough and high-quality) build on my new ride so I could participate in a last-minute bike tour. I'm so glad I live in a city with a kickass local bike store!
