Unfortunately, the Salt Lake Bicycle Collective's otherwise respectable mission is tarnished by unprofessional and unhelpful staff. Yes, its prices have gone up over the years, but they are still within reason for used bike parts. My gripe is about a community-centered organization that doesn't feel very "community" when you're there. I love the mission of the organization, but don't feel comfortable visiting with employees who seem to be bothered by the presence of others.

I love this place. I stand by what they are trying to do. I just wish it was more laid out and easier to navigate how to get some help and how to be on the opposite end of the buying and knowing how to apply for a free bike or get help paying for one. Having a good bike would change my life immensely at the moment since I'm carless and homeless. I have to walk every where and to work. But I still love this place and the diverse culture and people who work and go there.

Bicycle Collective got me back up on the road. Everyone on their team is amazing! I am so grateful for Lou who volunteers over here. These people were angels to me because my Bicycle helps me get to the people in my ward to do service and to the temple. God bless these people!

I will always remember Bicycle Collective. It has help me too much and help me a lot in getting from places to places. It gives me a nice bike and I would like to thank the management, staff, Bicycle collective and the beautiful city of Salt Lake City for giving me such. I have never known any programs like this exist! The bike that I had if it had to be equated to monetary value will probably range in the $300-400 dollars! I would like to thank Bicycle Collective for such beautiful offer. I’ve never heard a city who does that where if you’re low income and you qualify for a bike! It’s something I’ve never heard of! I helps me getting me from places to places and it’s rock solid and it runs from places to places without a single flat tire. I recognized it has very nice tire and tire thread too

The bike collective is the best! I went in to buy my first mountain bike, Thomas helped me and he was the absolute best. He was so kind and helpful and talked me through some choice selections. He guided me the whole way and answered all my questions and more. Ended up with a bike I’m very happy with. Thanks Thomas! Thanks bike collective!
