Valley Stream Bicycle has been our go-to store for my entire adult life. Tommy & his staff are always honest & helpful. We’ve bought many bikes from them over the years (family of 5 here) as well as bike locks, seats, lights, helmets & a trailer hitch for the car. Can’t recommend them enough.

This is a great bike shop. I came here maybe 4 or 5 months ago because the back rim on my bike had a little side to side wobble. I brought it in thinking I needed a new rim. The owner looked at it and said it probably just needs a new hub. He said we'll check the hub first. He said why spend the money on a new rim if you don't need it. 2 days later he calls and says the bike is ready. I picked up the bike and sure enough, it only needed a new hub for $15. That is what I call honest and great customer service. They will never talk you into stuff you don't need. Honest and to the point. All the employees are helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable.

This bike shop has helped me multiple times fix my spin shoes and get me the correct clips I needed. Taught me how to switch them myself too! Sold me a great bike that I absolutely love and he took the time to make sure the bike was perfect for me! It’s nice to see a family run business take such good care of their customers! It’s much appreciated!! Always highly recommend them!

The 1 star reviews are insane and should be ignored. Valley Stream Bicycle has been a phenomenally ran family owned business for longer than I’ve been alive. I have never and will never purchase a bike at any other bike shop. The owner Tommy is the most genuine man you could ever meet! He will go above and beyond to provide you with the best service and knowledge he can. You will never feel pressured to make a purchase, but after speaking with him , his son Tom and the other staff members, I can’t see how you would possibly leave, unhappy, and without a bike!!!

Long overdue review as I’ve purchased two excellent bikes at Valley Stream Bicycle, the first one was years ago. Tommy only sells quality bikes in this place, assembled properly, AND includes an adjustment to your new bike after you break it in within 30 days (if I recall…I don’t think I ever adjust my second bike but that’s okay) Tommy also had his staff reassemble (for a fee, of course), an IMPROPERLY assembled bike that I bought elsewhere to save a few bucks. I appreciate that, Tommy- that bike was for my son and I wanted it to be safe. (The brakes were not adjusted properly and one side was constantly rubbing and wearing out) Tommy has always treated me and my wife, as customers, fairly, and with honesty and integrity. And honestly, I don’t have time for anything less than quality priced fairly. If you do, maybe you’re a “Brady” or something, and you have time to fix your own bikes, or buy a cheap bike and fix it up GREAT! More power to you! (Though the Brady Bunch was always fixing their bikes. I doubt they ever rode) Anyway, Valley Stream Bicycle has my repeated and ongoing recommendation to anyone. Keep pedaling!
