I have been a WIM customer for years and I can't say enough about the level of service and communication they provide. The new shop on the West side of A2 is small compared to their flagship store, but the service is outstanding. The manager always takes time to listen and is a fantastic mechanic. Even with the substantial increase in demand during the COVID-19 pandemic, they still provide a personal experience and treat you like you are their only customer.

Horrible turnaround time. Dropped off Friday, they said it would be completed Sunday. Tuesday rolls around, said it would be done by end of day. I call Wednesday and they haven't even started working on it. Bella is the only one worth anything at this store. She immediately started working on it and had completed within three hrs. Place is garbage. Don't bring your bike here. My work on my bike consisted of two new innertubes for the wheels and replace a brake line. That's it. Staff is a joke. Lie to you constantly so you won't keep calling.

Not all Wheels in Motion are the same! I was referred to Wheels in Motion on Washtenaw and figured they are the same and boy was I wrong! I contacted Ian to have work done on an ebike at this location and my initial contact was great but when I called again to bring it in it was a complete 180 and he wanted to "put me on the clock" just to continue talking. A Jekyll and Hyde for sure. I would believe the other bad reviews where the end fee was much different than quoted. I immediately contacted the store on Washtenaw and had a much better experience just as expected. Not only did they do what Ian said he wouldn't, they did it without hassle and the final cost blew me away it was so low! It is clear that if this store is related to all of the other locations they need to examine their managers(Ian) practices because its nothing like the reputable location known for their great service! DO NOT TAKE YOUR BIKE TO THE WEST LOCATION!

Was quoted $70-80 by the manager Ian, told it would be done in a few days. A week later, was told it was ready. Total was $229. Labor was not included in quote, shop rate not posted in repair area, parts were way underquoted (told "about $15 for a chain", actually $30 etc). Predatory repair practices, get everything in writing in advance.

Brought in my step dad's walker. They fixed it while I waited. Only took 5 minutes and charged very reasonable (cheaper than I expected) rate. Highly recommend.
