*Cash Only and Mask-on* 10/5 stars. Charles is hands down the best in the business (70 years old in 2021). He would find the cheapest and most effective way for the customer to fix their bike prior to taking on the project. He did not allow me to step away while getting my deflated tire fix; now I know how to fix a flat. He allowed me to shadow him, the next client thought it was just a handle bar jam, but Charles thoroughly looked through the bike, fixed every possible issues and made it better. Glad, he'll be around for another 5 years. If you take your bike seriously, you better go to Charles! He owns his bike shop since the early 80's, and he's here to stay! Side note, if you want him to retire "early", buyout his building for $5mil in cash :)

Great with fixing up my Lemond 2003. Replaced my back wheel in May and more recently, several smaller fixes (cabling, derailleur pulleys , and more) that required real mechanical experience and knowledge. I find the prices very reasonable - has even done a couple quick things for free. Have learned quite a bit from Charles as well during the last year!

Charles is the best. Long ago I worked as a bike mechanic. Ordinarily I maintain my bikes myself. When I need something tricky I go to Wright Brothers. Charles is the bike doctor that other bike doctors go to. He's earned a long roster of savvy, satisfied, repeat customers over many years. If you want swoosh and polish, go elsewhere, but if you care about your bike, and if you want to understand the nuances of how it works, take it to Wright Brothers and learn from a master.

I took my 1975 Motobecane Grand Record to Charles to get the wheels trued, bearings serviced and new freewheel installed. Charles did what I asked and dealt with a lot of other issues at a reasonable price. I asked if my wheels were in good enough shape for a 1200K brevet I had planned and he suggested I have him build a new set of wheels that were more robust. He built up a beautiful set of wheels with Campy Nuovo Record hubs and Mavic MA40 rims for a very reasonable price. They perform better than the wheelset on my modern road bike. Charles had been very helpful and I feel like he is my team mechanic!

I am currently on a bike tour from Flagstaff AZ to Seattle and then down the coast to San Diego. I had a week to kill in Seattle and knew I wanted a thorough tune up before I headed South. I called about 10 bike shops and Wright Bros was the only one who was willing to squeeze me in, despite being extremely busy. I’ve had nothing less than an awesome experience with this shop. Charles kept me well informed on exactly what they discovered my bike needed to be safe and perform well for the rest of my tour. This included getting pictures texted directly to me of exactly what they uncovered and a plan to resolve it. Charles even went out of his way to resolve a recall with my crankset, driving to the manufacturer to get it squared away. He also went above and beyond to make sure I got my bike back on time to stay on schedule, including meeting me on his day off. I don’t think I’ve ever had such great service from a bike shop before. Charles is the man. My bike is in awesome condition now and I really trust he went above and beyond to meet my needs.
