DD Cycles is the best. Seriously old school knowledge, reasonable prices, and the owner is just hilarious, kind, and fair. Our favorite bike shop in the city by far. Highly recommend. He is never trying to play you always just giving honest knowledge and help. Does great work too.

Always up for a challenge, I wanted to replace the front rim on my mountain bike by myself. And, with advice (and new spokes) from Mike, I succeeded. Of course, I still needed a pro hand at dishing and truing up my wheel. Which was done by Mike. It's perfect! Runs like it's supposed to. Which is all I can ask. Thanks

My experience with DD is that these guys are pretty rude! Their staff has a really unhelpful attitude and fosters a rough set of interactions with customers. Started going to Swell Bicycles across the park and would highly recommend them over DD!

About DD? Only one person on this DD Cycles, it's enough. One is one, I mean, there's others bike shop's, but who is more honest and fast to fix a problem with my bike? The closer to me is two miles, Ocean Bike. But I prefer to go farther, almost 8 miles to DD Cycles on Balboa St and 42 avenue. He really has practice to set whatever we need to our bikes. He is honest, not greedy overcharging to much when we take back our bike. I can say to him again, thanks. Oscar
