Erik’s in Saint Cloud did a fantastic job on servicing my Specialized Bike which is now about 15 years old. Routine service and occasional parts replacement have kept me going year after year without any “on-the-road/trail” issues.

Erik's St Cloud is the McDonald's of bike shops. Ultimately they don't care how they treat a customer. I was very happy with a bike that their service manager had restored/rebuilt for me. Spent a lot of money, was in the store a lot. Eventually it developed a very loud and obvious click with every pedal rotation. Something you could hear and feel. I'm not even a real bike guy and it was plain as day. I dropped it off, ready to pay with cash as always- and I stressed the fact that I really need it fixed while I've got it loaded onto my car etc. They had it for either hours or a weekend or whatever and told me with a straight face that they rode it and "everything was fine." Blatant lie. No bike shop employee would ever ride a bike in that condition for more than one block. I was obviously upset that I had to then spend the time and money bringing it to an actual bike shop that would fix it... but on a personal level I was shocked that they actually think I'm stupid. Literally. That's the only way they would've tried to pull off something so ridiculous. Guaranteed I was immediately labeled the "crazy customer" or whatever. It's just a trashy store. I took it to a proper bike shop the next weekend and they fixed it immediately. New bottom bracket. Done. There was also another time where an older employee named Joe implied that I was going to steal a bike lock right in front of him. He was clearly angry and it was super weird. I had one in my hand/ was looking at it and said I needed to come back with cash in order to buy it... he said "You really think you're just 'cool' with the store like that buddy?" Like I was going to just walk out with it? Angry, hostile, accusatory. This was after I had happily spent almost $1500 there in one year. I just chalked it up to him being born in a different era where he thinks every black person is trying to steal from him. It was super super weird. Service guy is cool but the rest of the operation is trash. Period.

We had a tire problem, closer to St . Cloud went there right away they took the bikes in immediately, holding the door open for us fixed the one bike and notified us right away and ordered warranty part for the second bike. Fast efficient and courteous!! Thank you Eddie and the other young man.

We drove from Twin Cities to St. Cloud to demo an ebike on sale that was only available at this location. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Eddie, a man of few words. When my wife asked him to describe the bike, he was silent! As she looked over the bike, she discovered a long gash on the frame that he said he was unaware of. When I asked if he would offer an additional discount, he said no, it’s already discounted. Since the battery on this model was not removable and that the ebike must be stored at 50F+, we decided against it, and ended up buying a different model that we actually liked better. We would have appreciated if Eddie was more forthcoming with answers as a salesman.
