Matt is such a heartwarming owner of the shop!! My bike has been through a very rare case of being almost-stolen, and he gave me lots of information about bike protections and other useful info as well. He is also an art supporter! I had a great time visiting his cozy shop. Hope with the magical protection stickers, my bike would be safe from now on!!

Matt did a great job on my kid's mountain bike a few days ago. Nice to go to a locally owned shop where the owner is present. He was able to troubleshoot some obscure parts and keep the project within a reasonable budget. Also gave some good tips on local areas to ride. We'll keep coming back.

Great bike maintenance and repair shop. Professional and welcoming service at a very reasonable price. The owner will take all the necessary time to explain your bike’s required maintenance and repair in plain English and as much technical depth as you can digest.

Come here if you want a bike or need to solve a problem your bike has. The staff will honestly solve your bike needs without talking all of your bike money. Highly recommend Golas and Sons service, the conversation, and their definitely the stickers.

TLDR: Rude, unpleasant shop owner. Context: Took my bike for repair to this shop. This is my basic bike that I bought as a college student. First thing I heard from the owner as I walk in: “That bike is a piece of trash”. Excuse me? I don’t know if my bike was too basic for this “fancy bike shop”, but simply saying “we work only with high end bicycles” would have been a much easier thing to do that act rude, snobbish and give me the most unpleasant exchange. I couldn’t help but sense a tone of hate towards a POC. Guy refused to fix my bike. When I requested to get my peddles replaced, he says, and I quote, “The parts at this store cost more than the bike” I guess it’s a cool shop for bike enthusiasts, but I am so beyond upset with the shameless behavior. Just to clarify this, I was nothing but polite to this condescending man throughout the exchange. I feel so upset for not speaking up for myself right then. Don’t go here unless you own $10,000 bikes, I guess.
