We are from our of town (Canada) and both bikes blew rear spokes on our ride this morning. We rode up, and were told "of course we can fix you up!" An hour later we were back on our bikes on the excellent, so enjoyable lakefront trail.. Thank you Cycle Bikes for making our visit to Chicago so excellent!

Very fair pricing, the guys a lil gruff some days but knows his stuff and again is super fair! My go to shop!

I requested they clean & lube my drive train, wrap my handlebar tape (I provided the tape) and replace my brake pads. The mechanic said I needed a chain, so I agreed to that. I get my bike back, and the drivetrain is filthy (they put a new chain on a dirty drivetrain?), the cables underneath bar tape aren’t symmetrical and feel awkward, and the bike shifts way worse that it did before. The brakes were replaced, but I feel like screwed the barrel adjusters as tight as they would go because there is barely any actuation, it’s 0-100. On top of that the shop is a total mess with parts and garbage everywhere, no wonder it took him 10 minutes to find my bike when I went to pick it up.

I'm located in South loop and have been coming here for a few years now. The guys are very quick in comparison to other shops and will turnaround repairs faster than most, even during peak cycling season. They seem well loved by all their customers and will make sure your bike is fixed at a fair price.

I would give six star if there is one. Took my online bought mountian bike that I assembled totally unprofessionally, to fix the disk break that I can not tune. The owner fixed quickly and adjusted a few other things, it rides like a wind, awesome service and very good price, now I have a bike shop I can trust in the community.
