Justin and Austin were so extremely helpful when I was trying to pick out a new road bike for my triathlons. They were both very patient in answering all my questions and were very knowledgeable about bikes in general. Justin did my bike fitting and did such an amazing job completing all the adjustments to ensure the settings fit my body perfectly. He took his time to really make things right, and again, answered all the questions I had. I am very happy I went to Mike's Bikes when I needed a new bike, and I'm extremely thankful for Justin and Austin for all their help and kindness!

I’m honestly confused by the negative reviews. This is one of the best bike shops in San Jose! The staff is always friendly and professional, and I've never had an issue. Whether it’s testing bikes, buying one, or getting a tune-up or repair, everything has gone smoothly. What I really appreciate is that they never charge you extra for repairs without getting your approval first. They even send a text with the repair details and cost, so you’re always in the loop. It is a dog friendly place which is a big plus. Highly recommend!

I came Mike's Bikes of San Jose for a bike fitting. The staff is super friendly and professional. There is a dedicated bike fitting room and tools. While they were adjusting the bike, they helped me understand what every adjustment meant and even provided a report at the end. It was well worth it! They also helped walk me through additional gear which could help with the fitting. Shout out to Justin for fitting my bike!

Great and friendly customer service. Juan, the bicycle mechanic, helped me with a wheel warranty claim. He expertly diagnosed the problem and got in touch with the wheel manufacturer while keeping me in the loop. I received a replacement wheel soon after. Thank you so much, Juan!

I have purchased 5 bikes from Mike’s Bikes over the past 10 years and thought it was about time to leave a review. I’ve bought bikes and components at other local bike shops, online direct-to-consumer companies, large retailers, and I’ve had my best experiences with Mike’s Bikes. I give Mike’s my highest recommendation and send all my friends and family there. If you’re looking for a bike, go to one of their many locations and you won’t be disappointed. They are the best and biggest local bike shop in all of NorCal. There’s nowhere else I’d buy a bike from at this point. If you can get something on Mega Sale (Annual sale), you can get great deals and prices that no one can beat. They have a huge inventory and carry a large number of brands. These guys love talking about bikes and riding bikes, you won’t find a better shop. My most recent experience with Mike’s prompted me to write this review. I am a seasoned road cyclist and recently took up mountain biking. Although I know a lot about road bikes, I know very little about mountain bikes. After doing my own research, I called Mike’s Bikes San Jose to ask about a specific bikes. They connected me with a specialist who talked to me for over an hour about different mountain bike specs and terms, the tradeoffs of price vs. performance, and helped me center in on a few different bikes to choose from. Since I had so many questions, I called several times and went in store, all without purchasing anything, and never felt pressured to buy anything or like I was being ignored. After talking with several people at Mike's, I felt so comfortable with my knowledge of the bikes that I ended up buying one of the bikes we talked about without even riding it beforehand. It’s turned out to be the best fit for me and checks all the boxes for what I am trying to do in the mountains. I couldn’t be happier with the bike. When I picked my bike up, Justin was awesome and helped me get all setup, showed me local trails to ride, helped me figure out the tubeless setup, and gave me his card in case I had any other questions or wanted to go riding. Shoutout to Justin for the first class treatment. I will be returning to Mike’s Bikes for my next bike for sure.
