This is the ONLY shop to send your Rohloff speedhub to for service in the entire USA and they are awesome. The service and communication are both excellent. If you are in the USA and made an investment into a Rohloff wheel, you can trust Peter White. Sure, there is technically another service provider in the USA for Rohloff - but they are lame - and should not be mentioned alongside a great wheel builder like Peter White.

Since I discovered them, I've used Peter White Cycles for all my dyno lighting and wheel building needs. So far I think I've ordered 4 wheels (2 rebuilt due to my own error) and a set of dyno lights. I've been very happy with the service. Online ordering could be nice for small items, but when I call and talk to someone on the phone I can be confident that they understood exactly what I need and I'm going to get something that works for me. I'm hoping to plan a visit to their shop at some point in the future, just to see the operation behind the quality products I've been ordering.

Thank goodness Peter White is still in business. I have known about him for many years, but made my first purchase today. It's a great feeling to talk to someone you KNOW for sure is an expert. No worries about ordering parts. I am probably the right age to fit in Peter's wheelhouse of customers. Luckily there still is a place to buy sensible bike parts. Thanks for providing this service to us Peter!

Bought a Tout Terrain Singletrailer from Peter White Cycles. Thanks to the pandemic, the product was severely delayed, but, the communications from the folks at the shop was great and periodic updates were sent. Stoked on the product and the service. Would definitely recommend this shop for the niche products they offer.

I bought a dynamo hub wheel and lights (front and rear) from Peter White Cycles almost 4 years ago for my bike with disc brakes. I didn't really know what to get, so Peter spent at least 15 minutes on the phone with me to ensure I got the right setup for my bike, climate, riding style, body weight, etc. I've ridden 8,000+ commuting miles on this wheel, riding on rough pavement, over speed bumps, curb bumps, potholes, you name it. Everything has worked flawlessly and the wheel, astonishingly, is still 100% true without any spoke adjustments. I highly recommend dynamo hub lighting systems for their reliability and ease of use, and recommend Peter White Cycles for their quality consulting and wheel building.
