I paid $5k for Pinarello Dogma frameset. The frame arrived with misplaced decals, overspray, and a bottom bracket area that needed to be reamed and faced. Decals are relatively easy to fix. I did this myself at my own expense. The overspray is unfortunate, but fine. For the bottom bracket area, R&A snipped back at me when I asked for help saying quite literally that I didnt spend enough to deserve this 5 min service---they would only do this if I were to built a custom bike through them---despite the fact that I had paid for a $5k frame. I paid to have the service done myself. So, in my experience of buying dozens of high value bikes over the years, you can do better than RA. While they promise 'buying a bike should be a thrilling and enjoyable experience' the customer support I received was offputting--suggesting that my request to face a BB was 'out of the question' even when I live 20 mins away and literally would have take 5-10 mins in the RA stand. Just take your money elsewhere and get better service and a more thankful seller. In the photos you can see the comically bad decal and the bb overspray which requires reaming/facing.

Pretty rude and pretentious shop owner who has essentially turned me away twice now because of my lack of bike knowledge and desire to spend big bucks on my bike setup. Doesn’t cater to newbies looking to learn or get some guidance. Sucks because I want to support a local business but I’d like to feel at least a little bit respected when I’m paying for something.

My experience with R&A, specifically Philip for ordering and customizations, and Luis for assembly/wrenching questions, was nothing short of excellent. I contacted R&A essentially about making a custom order, mixing a frameset purchase with separate wheels, computer mounts, etc. I received a very quick response from Philip who provided multiple options, price comparisons, etc. Once I made my decisions and purchased, he kept me up-to-date on timelines, shipping updates, and all other balances/costs associated with assembly, packing and shipping. Everything arrived earlier than I had originally expected, and all arrived at my door expertly packed and mostly assembled. From there Luis took over, guiding me along on FaceTime calls to help mount the handlebars and headset spacers correctly, and ensure I was up-to-speed on my new Di2 groupset. It is a beautiful machine and I will definitely revisit R&A for any of my needs going forward. Highly recommend!

I visited this store looking for an entry-level triathlon bike, but the experience was extremely disappointing. From the start, the staff showed little willingness to help. They simply said they didn’t have entry-level models without offering any alternatives or explanations. Additionally, when I mentioned that my budget was around $4,000, the salesperson literally turned around and walked away without saying a word—completely disrespectful and unacceptable behavior. I also wanted to test a road bike and a triathlon bike to compare the difference in body position, but they didn’t allow me to do so, which is absurd for a store that supposedly sells high-performance products. I definitely do not recommend this place if you’re looking for good service or professional advice.

I came in to the shop today to look at some saddles and shoes and was immediately helped by Felix. After explaining the issues with my current saddle, he offered extensive reasons for my discomfort and possible solutions, giving me no pressure on selling me something I may not exactly need. When we got to shoes, he took a very detailed approach on helping me hone in what pair would be best for me. We measured my foot size, took note of certain anatomical differences beyond foot length, and he had me walk around the store to understand certain foot issues that I may have. He took several trips to the storage room to give me more and more options to try and gave me a lot of time and patience in making sure I'm 100% certain of my purchase. They also have one of the most extensive selection of parts and accessories and Felix was very knowledgable on everything that is sold in the shop. I will definitely be coming back whether it's for a bike fitting or any parts I need.
