    Writing this as a previous salesman in multiple bike shops. Not much of a greeting at all, every time I’ve came in this bike shop. Made the mistake of purchasing a Tarmac Pro from them and returning the next day to have the steering tube cut and the tires made tubeless. Was met with incredibly poor attitudes from both employees and was told it wouldn’t be ready until the following week. Needless to say, I requested a refund immediately which they happily agreed to. This type if customer service is absolutely unacceptable, I will not be back and encourage anyone looking to make any bike purchases to go to a local mom n’ pop shop where you’ll be greeted and taken care of.

    2June2024 Stopped in here to look around. No one greeted me when I entered, no matter that they were with customers. Nice organized store and ok selection of cycling gear.

    Long over due but this is a 5+ Star business! I've been riding Specialized for more than decade and very happy with my bike. I moved to Austin recently and during the really cold weather earlier this, I thought it was a good time to take the bike in for the Annual Service & Cleaning. I've always been happy when taking my bike in to a Specialized store for service... but this is an entirely different level of customer service! First, no need to call. Just book it entirely online (my preference). I filled out the information online and for the remainder of the scheduling, it was all done via text. They are very accommodating and it was easy to get an appointment to bring my bike in. The repair shop is located at a different location but they really go that extra special touch. When you arrive, just text them and a service person will come out to your car and pick up the bike. No waiting, no extra paper work to fill out. Literally hand it over to them and you are on your way! Now, as I said, I've always been pleased with repairs/service from Specialized store, but generally you are going to wait some time. Being this is Austin, and I'm sure others had the same idea given the weather, I had anticipated a few weeks to get my bike back. But instead it was only a few days! When they contacted me, I thought it was to tell me they discovered something that needed replacing, but instead, it was just to pick up the bike. Payment online is a breeze so again, just had to pull, text and someone brought the bike out to my car. It's like the Ritz Carlton of bike shops! My bike as good as the first day I purchased it. That is until months later when I took a spill. Just not paying attention while riding; I noticed the gears not shifting as smoothly so I knew exactly who to take it to! Again, getting an appointment was as easy as the next day! After dropping the bike off, it wasn't long before I received a call and fortunately, it was something pretty minor and I would be able to get my bike the next day! I don't live in Austin, but it's worth the drive for the quality of work they do and their professionalism. Certainly they work on other bike brands, but if you own a Specialized (or any other bike) you won't ever regret bringing your bike here. Everything from the scheduling, the speed and quality of their work to the friendly staff, this is truly a Five Star business!

    The bikes are terrific and the customer service here in Austin is second to none! I own two Specialized bikes and will be back if/when I upgrade to an ebike. Special thanks to Jackie, Drew and the south Austin team - these guys know their stuff. Beware of dog.

    Chase deserves a raise! He has been an absolute pleasure to work with and I thoroughly appreciate him. He always takes his time to thoroughly explain things about my e-bike to me. He is a gem and an outstanding employee. I never write reviews but I felt the need to reach out and let you guys know that you have an outstanding employee and I hope yall reward him so. This is coming from a guy who all 4 of his bikes are made Specialized. Thanks again for everything Chase!
