What’s a septuagenarian (a person in their 70’s) doing writing a review for a bike shop 1921 miles away? Because I couldn’t find a “disc brake bike” specific rear rack for my 2015 Raleigh Clubman locally that would work. I knew exactly what I wanted/needed – but nobody locally or even regionally throughout the Midwest had an Axiom Streamliner Disc DLX Rack in stock. Even the Axiom Company had temporarily suspended production of it. My Raleigh came factory equipped with color matching aluminum fenders. Plenty of rear racks on the market would work…if I wanted to ditch the rear fender. NO WAY! What a conundrum. Sigh…roll eyes. 🙄 Velo Pro had 5 of them “in stock” and even shipped one to me at a reasonable price. Although Raleigh USA bicycle is now defunct, the bike was designed with commuting in mind. Now, there’s no longer a need to take a backpack on my jaunts around South St. Louis. If I have some light shopping to do on my way home, I simply toss my purchase in the panniers.

Showed up with a stripped crank 1hr before closing and they got me riding my bike out at a great price in less then 30min definitely my new shop I’ll be coming back for all my bicycle Needs

I am fairly frustrated with VeloPro at this point because out of the two times that I have brought my bikes to them for work, they have not actually *done* the work, and charged me for it. It was up to me to notice that they didn't do the work and call them out on it. In their defense, they then expedited the work and did it properly, but this should NOT happen twice. Details below: 1) First time was July 2024, I had bent my rear MTB derailleur at the bike park. Brought it in for them to replace it. Paid for it, picked it up and got home only to realize that the bent, scratched derailleur was not, in fact, the new one they were supposed to install. Brought it back for them to actually do what they were supposed to. 2) Second time was just earlier today (Jan 2025), to do a frame swap on my road bike. When they told me to come pick it up, I paid for it while they grabbed the bike from the back. Turns out, they had only replaced the bar tape and not actually done the swap. Called them out on it, and then they actually did the work, at which point I could return to pick it up. However, they neglected to reinstall some parts, which I had to go back ONCE AGAIN (for a third time now) to get my parts. I was so frustrated that I just installed them myself. Only reason this isn't one star is because as far as I can tell, they're not trying to scam me, but I shouldn't have to be the one to notice that the bike shop isn't doing their jobs.

Staff incredibly welcoming and kind. They fixed up my chain, added air to my tires, and gave me a quick tutorial on putting my wheels back on (My original concern). Thank you kindly.

I came in for a small repair. They were super quick and helpful. I have had this same repair done at other places and had to wait hours. These guys took under 10 minutes. MINUTES! I’ll be coming back.
