    **STAY AWAY** I normally do not bother writing reviews, but I am so incensed by this experience, so here goes: I purchased my Bandit Forerunner back in June 2023. And it has been a terrible experience since day one. Initially the brake pads that were sent with the bike were completely run down and the brakes were (and still are) very loud whenever I use them. I also had an issue with the brake leads (the ones which turn the motor off automatically) which was turning the motor off sporadically. In addition, the disc brakes were completely misaligned and even after two full tune ups from reputable bike shops, the issue remains. I spent many hours on multiple phone calls with different reps at Bandit which I initially found useful. However, after my initial calls, and after more issues with the bike arose, I was then ghosted, with nobody getting back to me. Since then, I have sent MANY follow up emails with some initial responses, but eventually I was again ignored. They have clearly done some work to hide these Google reviews as this profile is hard to find. However when you do find it, you’ll see it speaks for itself. All the other review sites I found are PAID. I was initially impressed with the YouTube reviews however if you do some research, you will realise these are all PAID reviews where the reviewer gets a free bike and the review is thus awfully biased and not a good reflection of the product or service. Be very aware of these. Google reviews speak to truth. Do yourself a favour and purchase from a reputable local bike shop or a more well established brand. I have no faith in this company at all and will be looking to replace by ebike.

    Ordered an X-Trial pro - it was shipped a month late (despite Joe telling us he had it under control) and when it arrives the screen was smashed. I'm still waiting for them to respond/send me a new screen.

    My partner got the X Trail Pro on Nov 2. It arrived within the week. Meanwhile I had also ordered the Urban Step Thru and even to this day it hasn't processed – 9 days later. Ultimately I just told them to cancel my order and I got an Aventon! Their bikes are cool but good luck ever getting them on the phone, or actually getting your order in a timely fashion. I called 4 times in one day and not once did anyone answer the phone. Their customer support (email) rep Joe is nice, but even he was repeatedly unable to reach the warehouse to inquire about my order. Sounds like a small company that is struggling with growth, but that's no excuse for providing inaccurate SLAs, and saying the bike ships in 3-5 days on their website when, in at least some instances, this is absolutely not the case. TLDR; Cool bikes, bad business practices.

    ***BUYERS BEWARE*** I showed proof of manufacturer malfunction and was promised a new controller in February 2024 for my x trail pro. I've spoken to their support representative Joe and also their sales representative named Hansel. They keep saying they will send me a replacement, but never do. It's been 10 months. Big time scam, I am currently waiting for my warranty to expire so I can file a suit against these clowns for breach of warranty.

    I purchased the X-Trail Pro bike for my son for his birthday. At the time of purchase I was told the bike would be delivered no later then the day of his birthday. Despite contradictions between information I was given by Hansel and Joe, I moved forward with the purchase through Affirm. I was specifically clear that if the bike could not be delivered on time to please let me know so I could purchase a bike from another company. I made it clear I had no issue if it couldn't be delivered on time, but to please let me know in advance so I could move to Plan B. Obviously, as I am writing this review, that didn't happen. As recently as this morning I received texts from Hansel that the bike would be there, but of course it never showed up. Now I have a disappointed son, a $3,000 charge on my Affirm account and no bike. Since I fully expect Bandit to pull this review down, it will be forwarded to Yelp, and BBB. It is one thing to not have merchandise in stock, it is quite another to make promises you can't deliver, or worse, intentionally lie to your clientele. If there is a sure way to fail in business, Bandit is on the right course. Please don't buy from this company, you'll be given a bad bill of sale...
