I recently acquired a new Pivot Shuttle AM XX from Nick at Belmont Bikes, and my experience was absolutely fantastic. Nick went above and beyond to assist me throughout the process, providing invaluable guidance. He ensured my bike was set up perfectly, adjusting the sag and suspension settings to my needs. Nick clearly is very knowledgeable and was very helpful! Nick and Belmont Bikes embody the essence of what bike shops should be: exceptionally knowledgeable and exceedingly helpful. If you're looking for an exceptional bike buying or servicing experience, I wholeheartedly recommend visiting Nick and Belmont Bikes. They deserve a solid 5/5 rating and get my 100% recommendation.

I've been to this bike shop twice and have received excellent service overall. My first visit was to request a beach cruiser bike be built which they did an excellent job on. My second visit was to request a new saddle, rack and basket be installed. All of this was done to perfection with reasonable prices for each visit. I'll be using this bike shop for my bike needs. Happy customer indeed!

I cannot get over how friendly and helpful this shop was. I had a fixed budget, and instead of trying to up-sell me a more expensive bike, the recommended a lower price one, asked what the important parts were for me, and then added really solid accessories for just what I cared about (as opposed to a more expensive bike which might have features I don't need). I was also impressed that they didn't bat an eye when I asked to try the Liv bike they had in stock. I'm male, but my body geometry works much better with a "woman's" bike—it's just the ratio of arm to leg length. And they were so supportive of that- whereas other shops tried to steer me more towards a Giant designed for "men". When I asked if I needed a "male" seat, the sales/technician that I worked with just asked if I was comfortable with the seat that came on it (I was) and said he ran a "women's" seat on his bike because it just was a couple grams for more comfort. In addition, unlike other shops, they did a full check on the shifting and brakes before I went out for my test ride—where they said I could ride around as much as I wanted to test (there are some great climbs and downhill runs on the streets nearby). In short, fantastic expertise, respectful and helpful sales, and just so excited to do what they can to help you get you out on a bike!

Best bike shop in the Peninsula! I’ve brought several bikes in for different services and always get fast and quality work. Prices are extremely reasonable and all the people that work here are honest and kind. Recently I made the mistake of going to another bike shop, and they caused damage to my bike that they wouldn’t admit to and refused to fix. However, Belmont bike shop fixed it in 5 minutes after the other bike shop told me it was my problem and that there was nothing they could do to fix it. These guys are true experts in bike repair and servicing. I highly recommend this shop to anyone in need of a bike repair, purchase, or looking for expertise. Thank you John for my recent service.
