John, the owner, is the consummate professional, helpful and knowledgeable. And, my granddaughter learned to ride a two wheeler this week, thanks to John’s expert advice on the tires, pedals, and seat height. He gave her confidence and support! If I could buy 10 more bikes to show my gratitude, I would!

Great bike shop! So happy to have a shop like this in Port Washington/Manorhaven. Great service and reasonable prices. John (the owner) is super knowledgeable about riding and getting the most out of your bike.

My main bike shop for all my cycling needs. The team here is amazing and always able to fix my bike problems. John the owner is a great guy always willing to help and explain what needs to be done. He is also a great at teaching kids how to ride bikes. Mike the mechanic is another outstanding guy and knows all his bikes very well. He can fix anything you give him and is fast and reliable. They have a selection of bikes and equipment in store but can always order anything you need. Always recommend bicycle playground for all things bike.

Had the pleasure of meeting John today and riding with him around some local trails. He was kind enough to show us around some of the newly built trails in the area. Highly recommend his business for all your bicycle needs!

Great local bike shop with excellent customer service and advice. Mike and John made sure my bike didn't leave the shop without addressing all minor adjustments after a test ride. I will definitely return for any service needs, highly recommended. Update 9/17/22. These guys couldn't do better. After waiting weeks for a backordered broken spoke, John fixed me up with a loaner wheel so I could keep riding through the fall. If you're looking for a great local bike shop give them a try.
