If you’re craving an unforgettable adventure off the beaten path, this journey is absolutely for you! Get ready to soak in stunning views of canyons, towering boulders, wildlife, lush vegetation, and those iconic cacti. We went early in the morning, which gave us the perfect chance to fully immerse ourselves in the scenery, with plenty of stops to explore and snap some amazing photos. Our guide, Will, was fantastic—he shared fascinating insights at every stop, making the backcountry experience even more memorable. A highlight was Skull Rock, a truly awesome sight along the way. And don’t miss Will’s lunch recommendation at Sherman’s—it was incredible and totally worth it. Fun fact: Guy Fieri even dined there in 2017! Trust me, it’s a must-visit. I can recommend this bike tour to just about anyone- it is a fascinating ride thru the San Andreas Fault, viewing geological phenomena up close. The ride is about 20 miles and the first 15 miles are all downhill- pedaling is barely required. Our guide was quite knowledgeable and interesting. The equipment is in really good condition. The van rides behind the cyclists with flashers on for safety purposes. Snacks and H20 were provided. It was a really fun day.

The Earthquake Canyon Express bike tour was great! The canyon and farmland scenery were particularly beautiful. Ben was a friendly and knowledgeable guide who shared a lot about the area, fault lines, animals, and vegetation. He was also very patient with back-of-the-pack bikers and ensured our safety throughout. Looking forward to the other tours at Big Wheels!

We did 2 different tours with Big Wheel - both were excellent! Ben was our guide for the Earthquake Canyon Express bike tour and he was fantastic! Ben was very knowledgeable about the area, making the ride even more enjoyable. A beautiful family-friendly ride through stunning canyons. Aaron was an amazing guide for our mountain bike tour with Big Wheel! He was knowledgeable, patient, and encouraging, making the ride enjoyable for all skill levels. Easy communication, a stunning route, and an overall great experience. Highly recommend both!
