I have been riding for continuously for forty plus years, and have worked with some of the great bike shops in LA, I Martin, Helens, Euro Sport, and so on. For many months I have been working with Don, his son and team at Triabike. Any bike shop can greet you and write an estimate, look at the calendar, but it's the little things that make a difference. When you come in, they start by looking at the bike and how rectify the issue, they see your bike as they see their own bike. The result is the building of a partnership with someone over the shared love of bikes. I do not think you can find anyone close to this, and when your baby is damaged, that's all that matters.

This is my favorite bike shop in the area. Brent and his Dad know how to run a business. I’ve purchased a few bikes here, have gone in for service/repair, also rented from them numerous times when friends are visiting town. They’re super knowledgeable, reliable, friendly and honestly just a pleasure to deal with. I’ve only had great experiences. Go here for your bike needs, you won’t be disappointed. Thank you guys!

I recognize that most reviewers have had positive experiences with this shop, as I have had in the past. However, today I called ahead and asked whether they could take a look at a problem I was having with my derailleur. I specifically asked if I needed an appointment and was told no, just stop by. Forty-five minutes later I went into the shop and told them I had called ahead and asked if they could take a look. The person, whom I take was the shop manager, told me I would have to leave the bike for two weeks. I told him I had just called to ask if they could take a look without an appointment. He said they could take a look without an appointment but they were two weeks out and wouldn't get to it until then. He said if it was a flat, it would be a one hour wait as it wasn't mechanical. This was a derailleur adjustment, which is usually takes about two minutes. Wait. What? To make it worse, the guy had a fair amount of attitude, verging on hostility. So I left. Went to a shop down the road, and even though they were slammed, they took a quick look, made the adjustment, literally in two minutes, and I was on my way. Not I business I want to do business with anymore.

Just got an Aventon e-bike at this Tri-a-bike shop. Seller Trevor was knowledgeable and explained a lot about how to use the mechanics of the bike. Gave detailed insight about maintenance and care for it in the future. Overall it was a nice buying experience. Thanx!
