A lovely new addition to Madison's North side! I've had a couple of bikes in to be serviced by Zach at Cool Bikes North and I've been impressed with the quality of service and the thorough communication. On my last service visit (for a brake bleed and spoke replacement) he went above and beyond to check for a common recall on my crankset and found that it was in need of replacement. He handled the recall claim in house and had me back on the road in no time, new crankset and all! Zach has a deep background in bikes, and I wouldn't hesitate to bring in any type of bike for service there (in fact the bikes I've had serviced there couldn't be more different - a high end road bike and a bakfiets style cargo bike). A stand-out feature at Cool Bikes is their Saddle and Handlebar inventory. They offer customers the ability to 'check out' a new bar or saddle to try out and see if it fits your personal preference (think: saddle and handlebar library), and if you like it, you can purchase it. If you don't love it, Zach will set you up with a new saddle or bar to try until you get it right. Highly recommend.

very helpful and honest!! really loving the seat library option! they have this great sits bone measuring device, which was extremely helpful. very community oriented and accessible, much appreciated! welcome to the neighborhood and thanks for getting me rolling!!!

Brought in my very old and neglected USPS Team carbon frame bicycle that has served me well for 20 years. They did a perfect job replacing and repairing everything it needed and it’s looking and riding better than new!
