Incredible service, they do a bang up job, technicians know me as a regular know my name, very accommodating. Staff knows what they are doing, they are the best bicycle repair, Service and sales center in the area. Recently picked up a Trek marlin 5, even had it sized to my frame loving it so far!!! -Aaron Burns, satisfied customer.

UPDATE- have to reiterate my prior review. The Downtube is the best! Had my bike serviced at another Trek shop and they failed 2x to correct a known issue. Took my Electra ebike into the Downtube and Andrew made the proper repairs, first time. *** Great cyclist focused shop. Andrew, the manager, provides top notch customer service and is a talented bike technician. I had an issue with my rear bike rack and Andrew knew just how to solve it. The Downtube should be your go to bike shop.

Fantastic customer service! Got me set up with an express wheel swap over in hour’s notice. Andrew rocks. This shop is one of the few things I’ll miss about Albany. Keep up the great work! I contacted Downtube from Oregon. I was planning a ride long the length of the Erie can and needed to ship my bike back home. It was all set up by the time I left for New York, at the end of my ride they disassembled and boxed it for shipping through Bike Flights. Friendly. professional service . Thanks!

Becky’s fitting has completely changed my relationship with my bike. I had even considered selling the bike because of how uncomfortable it was to ride. Becky was very knowledgeable about body mechanics and was able to translate her knowledge into a digestible and accessible format.
