Robi was extremely patient and helpful. I was looking for a bike two days before Christmas and he took the time to answer all my questions in detail both over the phone and in person. He made some great recommendations according to my needs and we went home with a kick-ass first bike. All the associates in the store were super friendly and welcoming, everyone was willing to help. Great vibes this store has. I'd recommend coming here for great product and service.

Great customer service! They were so patient with all of our questions and test rides, and they really helped us find the right bikes for our family. So happy we purchased from Ken’s.

Absolutely great shop. I order a bike through Specialized and had it asembled here. The pick up process was quick and easy. I did have to go back a week later for an uncentered front wheel and a slight rub on the front detailer. Although, one of the staff in the repair shop was able to quickly get that fixed for me 👍.

Joseph? More like GOATSEPH! For real though, I easily could've been sad, angry or pissed off about my situation, but Joseph performed with an extremely high quality of care and professionalism during my tire repair today. I got my bike tuned up this past weekend in preparation for my new long commute to work, but today my rear tire went flat during my transit. This made me late to my federal job this morning, and it caused me a great deal of anger, sadness, and heartache. Thankfully, these negative emotions were extinguished by Joseph's de-escalation skills and bedside manner (colloquially speaking). He explained to me, in terms I would understand, everything he observed about my bike's status. He prevented me, as a customer, from feeling alienated, and instead involved and informed. It was like he was an EMT resuscitating somebody. To summarize, Joseph treated me with the following: 1. Respect 2. Dignity 3. Kindness; Joseph, as a bike technician, made my day a lot better and happier, and I think he made my bike happier too.

After spending more than $4000 on new bicycles and parts at this place, it is disheartening to experience the kind of customer service you get from their employees. When purchasing the items, they were nice and accommodating. A different story when asking for help after you pay. Arrogant and condescending on the phone regarding the possibility of replacing a piece they broke from a brand new bicycle I bought a day before this experience, the person on the other line was not winning any potential returning customers. Not even 30 minutes after the phone conversation, the owner called, inquired about the problem, and asked if he could give me more service regarding the broken item. I understand that there is a process when returning or replacing an item. But the delivery and tone in which it was expressed via phone conversation was foul. It is hard to reconsider this place after you get responses from their employees like: "Sacramento is really not that far, so you can just drive back. (With a smug tone of voice.)" or "Yeah, you can order this from any place if you want.“ In the end, I went to Kinetic Bicycle in Sacramento and spoke with Bruce (owner), explained the problem to him, and gave me the part for free (a $12 item, apparently). A different tone of experience. That is the biggest contrast here when it comes to customer service. Perhaps Kinetic Bicycle didn't care that it was a $12 item, but the fact remains that their customer service was far from what Ken's Bike-Ski-Board offers. Upon reading some of the reviews, which I should've done before spending money on this establishment, it seems like they tend to be condescending to customers. Lesson learned. There is no question where I will take my business next time after this experience, definitely not in this place again.
