Misogyny is still alive and well at Marty’s! I was not greeted upon entry and requested information on bike racks. I was told that I couldn’t get a roof bike rack mount (although I have a Subaru) because “it would be too hard for me” to get it on there. I was able to transport my e-bike IN my car with the seats down. The recommendation for getting a hitch (“I know a guy” and given a business card), $450 bike mount, and $40 for adapter was a complete sell up to a 30 year old woman. Disappointing.

I stepped foot into this shop last Saturday . My mom was in town from Michigan and I was wanting to browse for a new bike for myself . Marty came right over even tho it was very busy in there . Answered questions and got two bikes out for me to try . I have been to a lot of bike shops recently… this was so different. The personalized care was top notch !!! I bought a bike and it’s lovely and I cannot say enough about this owner and his customer care . I had not planned on purchasing but it all felt right ! Go get your bike serviced here or check out their selection for a new spring bike !

My parents have been going to Marty's cycle center for 4 or 5 years. Marty is so good to them. Whether it's buying or servicing their own bikes or buying a bike for my daughter, Marty has always been so kind and helpful.

I took my rim to get Tru. I had a brand new tire on my rim when I got home and notice my tire we're not the same on my bike I was truly dissatisfied because he did a good job but my tire was different. He offered to give me my money back but I rather have my matching tires I cant stand mismatch stuff.

I am an Avon Lake Resident for the past 30 some years here in Lorain County Used Marty’s cycle shop , while they were on Electric and Lear road , several times for my kids . Had given away my 2 Schwin Bikes which my kids had used for free to give it to 2 deserving kids who loves to ride bikes. Marty came to my garage and picked it up . I live 2 mins away .from Marty’s cycle shop on Avon Belden Road , Avon Lake , Ohio , USA 🇺🇸 Anywho , long story , bought an E Priority bike from Costco. Com Next , had a problem with it from day one , called Marty , because I trusted Marty , but he went Rouge on me , stole my bike 🚲. Without my permission.or consent he returned my bike to Priority Bikes in Hudson yard , NYC . I am positive Marty from Marty’s Cycle Shop (A mom & pop store, so I thought ) got a handsome kick back 💰 from Priority Bikes .. This I am very positive ✅ I have filed a written and verbal complaint on the same day at my Avon Lake police station with an Officer A Robinson , tried to meet up with Avon Lake Mayor , Honorable Mark Spaekzel but his secretary said he was in a meeting and never heard back from him . Go figure!!! This is White Man Country .They have burned a cross here at an African Family Home + in the early 80’s before we moved here in May 1995 . Atleast that is what I was told . I have never experienced anything but love and mutual respect amongst neighbors here in Avon Lake, till last Friday on Sep 10th , 2024 . I have met several ’ Karen’s ‘ both Male and Female all across NE Ohio , who have tried to scold and teach me , a PhD in English . I have always tried TJ empathize with thse so called Karen’s plight and tried to walk a mile in their shoes 👞 👠 Go figure !!! This is my so called ‘ Avon Lake ‘ 🥲
