Mike’s Bikes in Walnut Creek is absolutely killer! These guys know their stuff and treat you like part of the crew. I came in looking to upgrade my setup for hitting the trails, and the team went above and beyond. Big shoutout to the assistant manager, John—this guy is a rockstar! He took the time to walk me through all my options, helped me find the perfect bike, and even gave me tips on gear I didn’t know I needed. John’s knowledge and customer service were next-level, making the whole experience smooth and fun. The shop has an awesome selection of bikes, gear, and accessories—everything a mountain biker could want. Plus, the service team gets your bike running like a dream. Whether you’re a weekend warrior or hardcore trail shredder, Mike’s Bikes is where it’s at. 5 stars all the way!

Really rough and not great experience here. My partner and I came in after leaving their Berkeley location looking for a specific bike rack. Their site showed that they had it available. I guess they technically did have it available, but the condition was pretty shameful. This $800 rack had clearly been purchased and returned. There were holes in the box and empty bags falling out. Their team was nice but not willing to further discount (it was marked down $100) despite being not new or complete. They would have charged the same if the rack was brand new. I don’t think the associated should be accountable for bad policy, but also important to know that you could be buying something they consider brand new when it is not the actual condition.

The biggest in stock selection of Smith sunglasses I found in the area. It was great to be able to try a few different models instead of ordering them online hoping they would fit me. The staff was very helpful and didn’t rush me through trying them on. Bought a pair of the Smith Ruckus and love them!

All started out great we picked a bike for my six year old son and we were getting protective gear with our sales associate. That's when one of his colleagues sold the bike to another customer. The other sales member was rude and offered no apologies or anything...never again will I go to this location. Completely unprofessional…this was a same day gift for my six year old son....will never visit this location and do not recommend it
