I’m new to biking and needed a reliable way to commute to work, so I trusted Peachtree Bikes an highly reputable bike store in the city and purchased a bike from them just yesterday. Less than 24 hours later, on my very first ride, I nearly suffered a serious injury because the pedal came loose mid-ride. This isn’t just an inconvenience—it’s dangerous and completely unacceptable. While the in-store customer service was great, it clearly doesn’t make up for the lack of care in ensuring their bikes are safe to ride. The fact that basic maintenance wasn’t properly checked before selling me this bike is beyond frustrating. And now, on a Sunday, I have no way of reaching them until Tuesday—leaving me stranded on the side of the road, four miles from home, with no way to fix this. This experience has been incredibly disappointing, and honestly, I feel let down. If you’re considering buying from Peachtree Bikes, think twice and double check everything on your bike before leaving the store. UPDATE: They attempted to right their wrongs and picked my bike up to repair the pedal, THEN called me a day later to tell me they would replace my entire bike by the end of the week (This was Monday). End of the week came and I asked them for an update on the new bike and they told me that the bike was still in transit and should be there by the end of the NEXT week, since it was going to be two weeks past me purchasing this bike and looking to get a PEDAL replaced I expressed to them how I felt inconvenienced in this whole situation and how I felt like in totality I just needed a pedal & although I appreciate the replacement I would've taken my original bike back with a fixed pedal. The guy over the phone at the time let me know how I should've been THANKFUL that they were attempting to replace my bike as they don't do that often and that they would now be issuing me a refund since I felt inconvenienced for the delays. After a full week of waiting I was left with NOTHING, NO bike, NO pedal I was just told that I was pretty much being ungrateful. On the same day, I went to Big Peach Brookhaven and told them my situation with Peachtree Bikes. They told me that the situation is extremely odd but should've been checked by Peachtree Bikes at the time of purchase as well as the repair should have only been a one day turnaround (it was a pedal replacement). They then hooked me up with a fully functioning bike AND it came with a free pair of shoes, I couldn't be more grateful for the assistance and knowledge they provided me as I now have my means for transportation to and from work! I want to commend Charlie and Derrick for their excellent service. I came in needing some mechanical service to my adult tricycle and I've never ridden it before. They stated they don't usually do tricycles, but made an exception for me. Both were very professional, was straightforward with me with pricing, and let me know how long it would take to service. Services took less than 3 hours to complete and I was able to get my adult tricycle back the same day. I highly recommend their services if you want to get your bicycle 🚲 repaired.

I recently purchased a new bike from Peachtree bikes! Charlie and staff were super accommodating and very knowledgeable! Most importantly, they didn’t try to sell me as the bike did that for itself! The staff made the buying experience very enjoyable! I would definitely recommend these guys if your in the market to make a New purchase!

Update: Peachtree bikes reached out and apologized. They offered a significant discount on the bike and sincerely apologized. Thank you!! I recently had a frustrating experience with Peachtree Bikes. After weeks of research and shopping around I waited for Cyber Monday to try and get the best deal. I placed an order for a bike after seeing a promotional price listed on their website Monday night. My card was charged and was told 4-5 days until I could pick up at the store. However, Tuesday morning at 11am, my order was cancelled. I called the store to inquire about my order. The reason they cancelled? They claimed there was an error with the price posted on their website and refused to honor the deal. I understand that pricing errors can happen, but now I’ve missed out on other sales from different companies. As a customer, I expect more transparency and consideration, especially when the mistake is on the company’s end. If you're going to make an error, you should at least make an effort to resolve it in a way that values your customers and honor the sale. This experience has left me hesitant to shop with Peachtree Bikes again. It's a shame because the bike I ordered was something I really wanted, but the poor handling of the situation and lack of accountability has soured my opinion of them. I would advise caution when ordering from them, as it seems they are willing to cancel orders without much regard for the inconvenience it causes.

While I was only going for a bib so I could row more comfortably on my Hydrow, the two gentleman present in the store were friendly and helpful. I was shown what they had, and it was offered that if they didn’t have it, they could call their other store on Roswell Road and get it to Decatur within a couple days. I tried on two of their bibs. The fitting room was actually quite nice, with a lamp, chair, mirror, and end table. When I need more padded shorts or bibs, I know this is the best place to go locally!
