Our family had an absolute blast renting electric bikes from Ride O’Side! The experience was seamless from start to finish. The owners were incredibly welcoming, providing clear instructions and emphasizing safety, which made us feel completely at ease. The bikes were easy to use, and cruising around was so much fun for all ages. It’s such a great way to explore the area and create unforgettable memories together. Do not rent here. They gave us a cheap defective bike lock that would not unlock. The staff was very rude, offered no assistance, and even yelled at us. We had to call the police to cut it off.

This was fun if you need a rental bike or scooter. This is your depot the owners are a blast. The husband and wife duo He told the kids jokes she was kind 90 bucks an hour for the dual scooters we rented two super fun easy to use bring your phone online wavier is how they do it. I wish I could give this place zero stars. My friends and I rented e-bikes in Oceanside, expecting a fun and smooth experience, but instead, we encountered the rudest and most unprofessional service I have ever experienced. From the moment we arrived, the owner was condescending and aggressive. At one point, he literally said his "mission was to scare us"—which, unfortunately, he succeeded in doing. When my friend simply answered a question another friend had asked, the owner snapped and yelled at us. Later, when we had an issue with one of the bike locks they provided and called for assistance, his wife got on the phone and immediately started shouting, claiming we were "trouble from the beginning." Rather than helping resolve the issue, they doubled down on hostility. This was hands-down the worst experience I’ve ever had with a business. No customer should be treated this way. I strongly recommend taking your business elsewhere to avoid this kind of unnecessary stress and disrespect.

Such a friendly and enjoyable experience! Teddy and Crystal are so awesome. It was our first time ever riding electric bikes and we had a blast. Teddy gave us a safety course that was very thorough to make sure we were prepared for any situation. Teddy made my husband and I feel confident before taking off, he also took pictures of us that made our experience that much more personalized. I would definitely come back again and again just for the ambiance. Such a charming bike shop I even walked out with a t-shirt so I could remember this place in the future. Prices are more than fair and they even sell the bikes they rent at very reasonable prices. I definitely recommend this establishment to anyone looking to rent or buy electric bikes/scooters.
