Talk about going above and beyond! I was working an event at the Intercontinental this past weekend and our time needed to have 5 bikes built after receiving them in pieces. Clive was so helpful and had a same day turn around for us. We only had two cars that were able to take the fully built bikes back with us and were having a hard time fitting them, quickly realizing it would definitely take us multiple trips. Not only did Clive's team, consisting of his son and Omar, help us unload and load our cars, they even offered to take the last 3 bikes in Omar's personal vehicle and meet us at the hotel so we did not have to make multiple trips. They were so helpful from start to finish and really went above and beyond in both their knowledge and assistance to help us out when they did not have to at all.

Mateo Omar and the manager are the best! They have helped me since day one! Someone stole my bike and within a hour they gave a better deal on awesome beach cruiser! Omar and Mateo are the coolest nicest people on earth, go out of their way to fix your problem, and just so nice of people. This is by far the baddest bike shop in San Diego. I recommend it to everyone! thanks guys!

Now this is a bike shop. I had a poor experience with another local shop and then headed here. Cliff was the total opposite of, what can be, a condescending industry (I worked in bikes for 6 years). He was understanding, helpful, and got me rolling again quickly. Highly recommend if you're in the downtown area OR if you happen to live in Mission Hills (where the terrible shop I went to was).

San Diego Bike shop - A place that is assured to part you with your hard-earned money and leave you with regrets. 😥 If you don't make it to the bottom of this review, here are the bullet points that highlight what you need to know: 1) Fraudulent activities 2) Incompetence 3) Dangerous neighborhood 4) A company going out of business ✔️This company will attempt to undermine my review in their comment. They will have some long explanation as to why I am wrong and why they are right. Read below to find out what you need to know before doing business with this company. If you can muster up the courage to visit this shop that rests in one of the most dangerous areas of downtown, where you will most certainly have to wade your way through a dangerous crowd to get to the door. ⚠️ When visiting San Diego Bike Shop you will be greeted by relatively nice people who unfortunately lack sufficient knowledge to make sure your bike is not damaged while in their possession. If you're looking for slightly cheaper, then this may be the route to go. Remember the old adage, "you get what you pay for". Paying the few extra bucks at a reputable Bike Shop will save you the headache of a damaged bike, extended wait times, and potentially dangerous malfunctioning of your bike due to incompetence of the people who you trusted. ☠️Beware - now it's time you be forewarned of the fraudulent activities you may encounter at San Diego bike shop. While purchasing items at San Diego bike shop, you may be given used items. The owner is aware of these activities and okay with these activities. I put my trust in this company and purchased an item I presumed was new. Unfortunately, my $4,000 bike arrived in a box with a different brand name on it. Subsequently this resulted in the bike being severely damaged. Through my personal experience I have learned that all of the negative reviews about this company should have been something I paid closer attention to. Being able to walk to a bike shop is a rare occurrence so I love that this shop is in the heart of downtown. I've had my bike in my storage unit for a while. I brought it in because I was having issues getting my tires to fill with air. They were quick to diagnose what was happening ( it was total user error) and even took the time to explain to me how to adjust the attachment on my new pump so that it can properly attach. Super friendly and helpful, can't wait to use my bike again!
