    I got a flat tire and decided to replace the tire and tube myself with brand-new parts. After finishing the job, the tire was wobbly but holding air just fine, so I decided to take it to the experts to see what was wrong. When they called me to pick it up, I was charged $26, but when I asked what work had been done, they couldn’t give me a clear answer. I paid the $26 and left. The next morning, the tire was flat , so I went back and told them I had just paid $26 and the issue wasn’t resolved. I left the tire with them and returned the next day, only to be told the inner tube was bad and needed replacing—for another $20. I refused to pay because the tube was brand new and had been holding air before I brought it in. When I pressed them about the original $26 charge, they couldn’t explain what it was for, but they told me not to worry about the new charge. I took the bike home, and guess what? The tire was flat again the next morning! At this point, I’ve decided to troubleshoot the issue myself to save the time and frustration of going back and hoping they get it right on the third try. Respond to the owners nasty answer - I purchased a tube with a 5-star rating and 34,483 sales. The tube has nothing to do with the service. When I brought the tire to you, it was holding air. Now, I’m out $26, and I have a flat tire—yet I’m the one accused of stealing? You supposedly installed a new tube, so why is the tire flat again? You tried to charge me twice, never explained what you actually did, and before this, I had a working tire. I could ride my bike before, but now I have a completely flat tire that won’t hold air—but somehow, I stole from you? You should be refunding me the $26 and the money I spent purchasing the tube that you damaged. How exactly did you help me? I’m out $26, my tire is still flat, and now I have to take it to another shop to get it repaired correctly. Your response truly highlights your excellent customer service.

    The service is excellent. Even more important, the employees are wonderful humans. I found out that my son is one of many teenagers who go there to stare at bikes and dream about what they would like. Also, I found out the employees regularly fill the teenagers’ tires with air for free. It says a lot about Tom that his place treats teenage boys with respect and kindness, while nobody sees it. Tarpon Tom’s is a great local business and is worth your time to shop at.

    They charged me and my friend about $75 per tire with added fix a flat. I don't know what they added to our tires but it doesn't even stop a tiny thorn. When you apply pressure for 5 minutes the crap they put in our tires doesn't coagulate or stop the air leak. A complete waste of money. My other complaint is that I paid an extra $100 for them to run maintenance on my bike. You check the website for a description of what they do for that service, and nothing on my bike got changed out or fixed. Never swapped out my bike chain and gave me some bullshit excuse that "we have to change everything out, cable and all." Duhh that's what I paid for, not so they can just tighten the brake cable with a screwdriver and screwed me $100 on top of my tire repair. These guys seemed honest at first but they are a complete rip-off. They also charge extra if you have a rear hub motor, it's a simple cable to unplug by they make it seem like it's more work and charge you "extra". Complete scam and I will never go back. I bought my lift and will be happily saving money hand over fist. Toms, this is MY REVIEW I don't need your clouded false judgemental statements when I'm the one stuck with your false product fix a flat bullshit. I'll buy reputable products for my bike so I ride for longer than a month. And I don't need your half sence about it.. Thank you, none the less.....

    Took my rad power there a few months back for a tune-up. The new guy you have working there with Jan is ok. I don't remember his name but he did the tune-up. Told me that I needed a new back tire which was fine but told me that the 26 × 2.30 was hard to come by. I do believe that when he or Jan placed the orders completely missed the tire. It is a tire size that is common for Ebikes. And the person who did tune-up my bike made one of the bolts too tight causing the wheel to be restricted on movement I just noticed this when I took it in just the other day when Jan had it on the rack. Jan loosened it re-tightened it and then started to move without restriction. But now my bike needs a new flywheel and chain four years later. And I will be asking that only Jan work on my bike and no one else. He knows this bike and he has been working on it for years. He knows how I like my brakes. So I will be asking Jan to take care of the new parts.
