I brought my son who is 13 in to try out some bikes in person instead of all of the online research we had been doing for his first big mountain bike purchase and the owner was fantastic. He patiently and enthusiastically answered all of his questions and we finally bought a brand new mountain bike for him. We bought it right before the hurricanes started hitting so even though it took a little longer to come in - the communication with the owner put our minds at ease and when we picked it up the bike was absolutely perfect. My son asked more questions and had it adjusted a little bit more in the store and the owner was so wonderful to work with. I highly recommend this store and am so happy it is right here in Wake Forest!!!

Horrible customer service., I came in to purchase a 600+ dollar bike and was told that it would be ready in a few days. I came in and was told that it would be ready in a week came back in a week was told it would be ready the week, came back then and kept getting the run around when I asked for a refund because he wasn’t being honest with me then try to short me $20 on my refund. I had to go back in several times to get him to refund the correct amount, I would avoid this place at all cost and go buy a bike elsewhere.

Great customer care with Adam who offered a free maintenance on my 4 years old son's bicycle, which saved us 45 box. Adam waited for us to pick up my son's bike after store hour. He was very honest when explaining that there was nothing wrong with the bike, that all he had to do was to tighten the screws up. I insisted to pay for the service rendered, but Adam said his service was a gift to my son. Adam is knowledgeable & I am considering to get his advice for we are ready for an upgrade for my son's bike. Thanks again Adam!

If I could give zero stars, I would. Upon good reviews from friends, I decided to go here to buy a hybrid bike to ride on the greenway. I purchased my bike back on 8/17 and was told it’d be ready in a week. 9/2 rolls around and I haven’t heard anything so I decide to call the store. In a rushed call I’m told they’re unloading the truck and I will get a call back. Never receive a call. I reach out again on 9/5 and I’m told it’s in the shop but hasn’t been unboxed and put together. I’m out of town so I tell them no rush. I don’t hear anything until 9/20 when I call back to see if it’s put together but it has to be taken for a test ride. I’m told they’ll call me back later that afternoon. I didn’t get a call back so I decide to go to the store the next day. That’s when Adam tells me there was frame damage to the bike and he’s already ordered another one to come in the following Wednesday. Wednesday comes and goes and no call from them on if my new bike is in. I call on 9/27 to be told there have been transportation delays with the bike. After repeated calls that go to a full voicemail, I speak to Adam again on 10/8 saying the bike just arrived. Should be put together the following day and I will get a call back. I don’t. I call again 10/10 and am told he’s been busy and hasn’t gotten to my bike yet. I ask for a phone call on 10/11 to let me know if it’s ready or not. Unsurprisingly, I don’t get a call on 10/11. I went to the store today and was told it was the wrong bike and I could either get a refund or a rental bike for the weekend. I took the refund. I can understand being short staffed and supply chain hiccups. What I can’t understand is the total lack of communication and follow through for 8 weeks. I recommend taking your money somewhere else to buy a bike.

After going into the store and speaking with the owner I was talked into buying a bike based on his opinion and availability, options etc. With full confidence and assurance from him that the bike would be ready in a week, I paid him in full $1,000. After 16 days and no contact from him I went back to the store. I tried calling several times before going back in, but wasn’t able to connect with anyone or even leave a message. When I went in the second time I was told the bike just arrived 30 minutes before I walked in and he hadn’t assembled it yet. I was told two days but he’d contact me the following to confirm pick up. Neither happened. I waited a couple days longer and called several times, finally getting through I was told that he was very busy, hadn’t gotten to it yet and needed another couple of days. I laughed thinking yeah right, and sure enough it’s been another week. Still no notice, no bike no nothing. It’s now almost four weeks. I have no idea if the bike has even been ordered yet. I’ve been placated, lied to and forgotten about, and if not then that’s certainly how I feel. Horrible way to communicate with customers and the fact that I’ve paid in full and have yet to even receive a call explaining the delay is beyond comprehension to me. If you want a bike consider buying off the shelf or go somewhere else where you can get faster service and pay after you get it in your possession. I can’t speak to the quality of the bike itself and after each conversation becoming more uncomfortable and laughable I’d suggest another store. Update- This guy is an absolute liar. There are so many people who have the exact same experience as me. Many of them have taken this liar to small claims court. Apparently Giant has disassociated from this liar as well. He is nothing but trouble so save yourself the embarrassment and hassle and shop for a bike somewhere else. People like this jerk should be run from town and closed down. I had to go into the shop there while he had a customer and demanded my money back of which he paid but tried to pull yet another fast one on me and he shorted me about $40. I caught it on my way out. Showed him my bank statement which has the actual charge and he denied it was correct. I insisted he pay the full amount. He did, however this liar took months to do nothing but drag out the inevitable. Even the day I went to get my money back, which I asked for many times over on the phone via texts, he still had no bike ready nor ability to refund. Mysteriously though he refunded me right away in person. What a jerk. What a nightmare. If I could do more to make people aware of the worse shopping experience I’ve ever had I would and will tell my story in person to anyone I know who is looking for a bike. Zero stars…. Liar
