The customer service is so wonderful and the best. I brought a bike that needed alot of work and the employees were transparent with everything from the pricing to the amount of work needed. I ended up not going through my plan on fixing the bike due to cost since the staff reccomended I would be better off buying a new bike that fitted my needs. The manager, Tad, and his staff are helpful, kind, hardworking, and understanding. They did not charge me for their troubles in the diagnosis of my bike and provided me information on another bike shop nearby that had other options in bikes. Thank you so much Tad and the rest of the staff for being amazing! I would highly recommend others to service or buy their bikes here.

My bike is 30+ years old, and I hadn’t ridden in in probably 8 years. I wanted to get it tuned up before taking it on vacation. First, these guys had the best price in the area on a tune-up, by far. Next, they were attentive and had great customer service. Then, they had great communication and remembered my schedule, giving me an extra phone call and telling me they would be there after hours if I wanted it a day earlier. They double checked to make sure the inner tube in the back tire held air, found it didn’t, and went back and fixed it. The guys in the shop are all super helpful and knowledgeable. I would happily take my bike there any time and can’t recommend them highly enough!

I’ve now bought 2 bikes from the UML bike shop, and would direct others in the community here as the first place for bike shopping/perusing. The staff here is all phenomenal: knowledgeable, patient, and generous with time/help. I’ve had great interactions with both Tad and Anna. A couple features I’d like to point out: 1) Fit: If you are buying a bike from here, these guys will make sure it’s one that fits you. If you go to an off-the-shelf bike store, you’re going to be looking at a lot of bikes built for your average person, and customization is going to cost you. Between the collection of spare parts these guys have assembled and the folks who will be guiding you through the process, you’ll walk out of here with a bike made for you! 2) Price: These guys just have the best prices in the area. I’ve attached photos of the bikes I’ve purchased from here: one is a 60cm Canondale aluminum road bike that fits me perfectly that I got for $350, and the other is a 54cm Schwinn Fastback Carbon ($500) that fits my buddy Jack perfectly. I also bought my very first road bike (a vintage steel Trek which I still LOVE to ride more casually/in the rain) from here for $150. Everything was tuned up perfectly from the get-go, and I had a genuinely incredible purchasing experience each time. 3) Maintenance: These guys are with you for the long haul. They care about seeing well cared-for bikes on the road and on the trail, and are willing to teach you what it takes to maintain a quality road or mountain bike. I’ve personally taken advantage of the open stand times they offer to get access to tools I don’t have at home and consult with their staff on how to fix just about anything. Anna walked me through a whole tune-up last year, and thankfully I was able to do it myself this year! Very appreciative of their team’s knowledge. If you’re around this area, I think it would be a mistake to not make these guys your first stop for cycling questions, repairs, and new purchases, whether you’re a novice or an experienced cyclist.

Was recently at the shop with an old bike I was given by a neighbor trying to bring it back to life. Alex and Anna were fantastic!! I was able to get stand rental time work work on my bike, with their supervision, to adjust my gear shifting system and grease my front wheel bearing. Really an awesome educational hands-on experience. THANKS GUYS!! This is a great - one of a kind - bike shop. They are friendly , incredibly knowledgeable and very reasonable when it comes to advice/evaluations, pricing for straight-out repairs and stand rentals to fix your own bike.

The location is perfect. There is plenty of parking. The staff here was excellent. From the start, Kevin and Tad responded to my initial questions almost instantly. My appointment was made a few weeks out, and I brought my bike in when they asked all the right questions. My bike was ready for pick up by the date they said. I was out the door a happy customer.
