Over the summer I brought 2 bikes here for safety inspection. The staff took care of the bike for my son. We got it used and I wanted to make sure it was safe to ride. That exchange was great. When I brought mine however, I told them the same thing. Wanted to get it checked out to make sure it was safe to ride and in working condition. They charged me $90 for a tune up and I had to wait 3 weeks to pick up the bike. I took it for a ride shortly after and after FIVE MINUTES the chains were falling off, gears not switching properly, and I was unable to use the bike. Now it's just sitting here because due to my extremely busy work and school schedule I haven't even been able to take it back for them to actually fix. At this point I'm positive I was charged $90 for nothing. Literally nothing. Good scam they got going on there. 👏

Chris is the best guy around for repairs, every time I need a flat fixed on the spot the wait is no longer than 10-15 minutes. Had gotten another flat on the ride home from work and thankfully I was close by and was able to walk it over, and since this wasn’t my first time he knew exactly what I needed, a fixed flat!!! I was furious the whole walk over thinking “not again”, because this is the second time within a month or so. I left feeling relieved it was fixed at a cheap price, nice and quick and on my way home in no time. Absolutely recommend the shop even to those who aren’t in the area, 10/10!!

I had great experience talking about potential bike purchase and then I took my bike in for tire replacement and tune up. I tested the bike and to my surprise I don’t see any difference from when I left the bike there. Wheels are definitely not trued, gear indexing is completely bad and so on. I was hoping at least gear indexing would be properly done, but thats not the case. I took my bike to different shop and they confirmed what I mentioned above. I do love my new tires and that’s all.

I had a great buying experience at Village Cyclesport. Greg was a very knowledgeable and helpful salesman. I was deciding between two models and two frame sizes and spent two hours in the shop, test driving and chatting with Greg. He was patient and made several trips into the basement to bring up bikes. I decided on the Trek FX3 Disc and am very pleased with the outcome. When I picked up the bike the next day Greg was off, but Preston was equally helpful in teaching me about the bike and accessories. Great place.
