Two stars is probably too generous. I came in after my wife called to see if they had a 24” tube for my son’s mountain bike, asking specifically for a presta valve. 5 minutes later I walk in mentioning the phone call and they gave me a schrader valve tube without mentioning it may not fit in the rim drilled for presta (I should’ve known better but not everyone would). So I went back to exchange. When I went back I saw they had tubeless stems. So I asked if they could just return the tube and set my son’s single 24” front wheel tubeless (we were on our way to Duthie and I didn’t have tape or sealant on me let alone an air compressor to seat the tire). The stems were $25 for a pair, they sell for $16 on amazon and $12 on sale direct from Stan’s right now). The sales guy at the front said “no problem” and the tech at the back said 5 minutes. While the tech was setting up the rim tubeless I grabbed another set of stems for my other son’s bike and went to pay, so at this point I’m buying $50 worth of tubeless stems that would cost me $24-32 elsewhere. No big deal I’m paying for the convenience of not having to wait one day for Amazon. So I go to the register and was informed that they were also charging me $20 for the 5 minutes of labor and another $15 for sealant. The $20 for labor seems absurd, that would be a shop rate of around $240/hr but maybe they need to charge a minimum. The $15 for sealant is also crazy steep considering you can buy almost a full liter for that much which will cover 10 adult 29er wheels. Both charges were steep but I may have been ok with it if they had mentioned these costs before they went back to do the 5 minutes of work. In reality if they had said this I probably would have said no thanks and just bought the right tube. To make matters even worse the tech handed me back the tire/wheel and sealant was leaking out of the rim at the rim weld. He then proceeded to tell me that those rims really aren’t rated for tubeless and the particular brand “Alex rims” generally don’t do well with tubeless. This would’ve been nice to know before he told me “no problem 5 minutes” (he had seen and was holding the wheel) and then charged me $35 for 5 minutes of labor and $4 worth of materials. So then I had to ask him to remove and clean out the sealant so I could put a tube in…. All this to say it’s a bummer to have our local shop lack any transparency whatsoever. Imagine how much different this review would’ve been if they had been upfront with their charges, or taken the 30 seconds to make sure I had the right tube, or made sure I knew the rim was unlikely to seal well before doing the work, or just don’t the labor for free since I was buying $50 worth of overpriced goods? I did a quick scan and it sounds like I’m not isolated in my feelings with Woodinville Bicycle. It seems like they get away overcharging folks that don’t know any better. I’ll steer clear in the future. There are much better shops if you’re headed east. Ride Bicycles in Issaquah is a current favorite.

I purchased a Velotric e-bike from Woodinville Bicycle. It had a few issues. Had some electronic issues, nothing the Woodinville bicycle shop had anything to do with. They went above and beyond working with Velotric to get the issue solved. Even though this is a lower tier bike, the staff spent a lot of time getting it right. Never any feeling from them like.. you get what you pay for. They treated me like I was buying a top of the line bike. Kudos to the whole staff! Best bike shop experience I have ever had. Thank you!

Do not shop at this store. They talk to you like they are above you and you don’t know anything. Purchased a chain break to fix a chain this morning from this store. Took it home followed the instructions of use and the pin bent on the first link. Attempted to return the item and they would not take it back as it was “user error” and the tool was now a “used” tool. I asked to talk to a manager and he continued to say it was my fault for the pin bending, because I didn’t use it right. He continued to say that his tools do that after multiple uses, but wouldn’t even give to the fact it could be a defective tool. DON’T go here. There are other places that do it right. UPDATED: Response from business: Hey George. I am wondering who takes returns for product that was damaged after it left the store? It’s a pin. They can bend when used incorrectly. I am unsure how that could become our responsibility. Park tool surely would not take it back. You are asking us to take a tool that you broke and just eat it. Hello, It becomes your responsibility when a product is used as instructed and it breaks in the process. That's a defective product, even if it's common for this type of failure. Most businesses would stand by the products they sell. This would be like buying a wrench set and a tooth breaking after using it properly. That's a defective product not a user error. Simply based on the response by this business proves my point from my initial review of this business. You are blaming your customer for something that could have been easily fixed. This is a $40.00 ish dollar tool and by simply not eating this cost, you lost me forever as a customer. What you don't know is I have 3 very young boys who love riding their bikes and you will not see a single dollar from me in any way. I hope this review helps someone else think twice before visiting your store.

Mike has been taking exceptional care of my bikes for years. I have gone to other mechanics in the past but have found there are none I trust or respect as much as I do Mike. Everyone who works at Woodinville Bicycle go above and beyond every time. I highly recommend this shop. Love these guys!!!
