At BicycleSports.com, we represent AimA eBikes. We recently replaced the throttle on an AimA Big Sur Sport (as a training exercise) Although the connection was neatly hidden behind a trap door, a 2 mm Allen wrench made for a quick, easy exchange. Very well designed! Thank You for an excellent product.

Wow! A fantastic bike! The Aima Santa Monica. The Route 66 motor is 750 watts, delivers 1086 watts going uphill and is the size and weight of a 500 watt motor. It comes with a torque sensor. The motor, display, wiring, and controller, are all Bafang. Tektro hydrallic brakes with 203mm rotors. 2.6 tires are quiet and efficient. This full size bike only weights 64 lbs. Take off the 8.4 lbs. Samsung cell ul listed battery and is fits on most bike racks. Aima (which I had never heard of before) is one of the largest bicycle manufacturers in China. Everything is quality at an affordable price. It even looks cool. Called tech support 8:00 a.m. Sunday morning. They answered.

We purchased our bikes from future bikes in Broomfield, Colorado. It was a great experience and continue to build a relationship with the owner and his support staff. We have owned our bikes for approximately a month now and we’ve been riding them extensively and have enjoyed ourselves immensely. We have both the Big Sur and the Santa Monica bikes. I have owned bikes my entire life and started riding ebikes approximately 20 years ago around the Boulder, Colorado area. There are some pretty extensive riding/hiking areas in the mountains west of Lyons Colorado, which we frequent. We do have to be extremely careful since we are in the latter years of our life. There are other areas that are more practical for us to ride are in the open space areas around Boulder County. We have had a lot of fun on our bikes and will continue to enjoy ourselves wherever we can. I hope you will jump on a Aima ebike and experience the enjoyment and the thrill of it!

I purchased 2 of these in the off-white color. One was a small frame and the other a medium frame. I believe as of this week Aima has reclassified their sizes. The small is now a medium and the medium is a large. I am totally satisfied with the e-bikes. They now have a small sport size. I do wish there were options available as far as front racks and batteries. These are selling @ 1700.00 ish. Select bikes in Inverness is the “local” dealer where we purchased them.
