Brought my road bike in to replace the tire tubes and to get a tune up. I provided the tubes. Went to ride my bike and the tire was flat. He never replaced the tubes and took my tire tubes that I bought. At this point I’m not convince he even did a tune up, but he’s certainly charged me for it. I won’t be back.

I send an citizen foldable bike to replace the front tube. They fixed it. I took the bike for a ride and left it on the garage. Next day same problem. I went back the guy was nice he fixed it again no charge. When I went home I observed the chain was messed up! I called and he said we didn’t know how to fold the bike thats why that happened 😡. You have a bicycle shop and don’t know how to fold a foldable bike! Ask me! Thats why I gave 3 starts only. They need to improve

Don't go here ever. 2 summers ago I came here because my chain broke. Well I used my own tools and had to buy a chain breaker which costed me money right?? Ok besides that it broke and couldn't be repaired so I ask if the kid could put it on and I'll pay for labor , the kid in the back with shaggy hair mid twenties he doesn't know how to fix bikes , also noticed the older guy the way he was talking to me was kinda dissing me saying something that some people are doing biking just to show off idk but I think he was directing that speech to me. Anyways the kid purposely squeezed the link and bent the chain badly and I just thought maybe the chain breaker was faulty. I paid and road out. Not even 3 minutes into riding the chain snaps and my knee bashes into the stem very hard injuring me... I went back , thankfully he gave me refund for the labor. The kid puts on another link on the chain , same thing he bends the link so bad closely to the edge of the plate and when I left and got back home it snapped again. I was so angry because I've fixed bikes all the time and this kid that I thought was smart couldn't do it or I think he knew someones who wanted to mess with me and didn't like me purposely messing with my bike. I don't appreciate it man. I have it on file and I really wanted to press charges and get camera footage but it's a waist of a lawyers time. So thanks for that man appreciate you playing games with me after I purchased your chain , your chain breaker , and your "dedicated hard work". I legit ordered a chain online put it on and it's never broken off. Fire that kid man he isn't a good person and idk these bikes shops are frauds. Id give him 5 more years before he gets shut down by the government

They have a long standing history of good business in Worcester and I really wanted to support them! Friends of ours raved about them, but my experience was confusing. I went in looking for a bike, and the person that assisted me assumed that I didn't want anything expensive, and told me that he had nothing for me. He said that I should "keep track of the inventory they had online, but they don't keep it up to date...". That's not very helpful! I wanted advice from an expert, and they were super quick to dismiss me from the store. It was really disappointing.

I needed a bearing for a rear hub. I called Barney's to get prices. It turned out I was able to purchase a better quality rim, and have my old freewheel transferred to the new rim, all cheaper than what it had cost me to have the original rim rebuilt a year prior by another unnamed bike shop (that rebuild lasted only 2 rides). The new rim is exactly what I needed. I was really pleased with the straigh service, and I definitely saved money by visiting Barney's. 5 star experience
