I had two in-studio sessions with Matt, and both were productive, efficient, enjoyable, and educational. During the first session, Matt took all of my physical measurements and made adjustments to my cleats and road bike to balance comfort and performance based on my individual goals. He had a new reasonably-priced saddle on hand that made a big difference in comfort, and he also loaned me a longer stem to try out for several weeks. During that first session, he also put me on a setup that mimicked a time trial / triathlon bike and made adjustments to it so that I could use those measurements to tailor my new bike search. During my second session, he made all the adjustments to my new triathlon bike. During both sessions, Matt was patient, analytical, professional, and friendly. He was quick to follow up with emails after both sessions and checked in weeks after. I highly recommend Matt for a bike fit if you are looking for adjustments to an existing bike or are in the market for a new bike.

I recently had a bike fit with Matt at Bike X Fit, and it was hands-down the best experience I've had. Matt quickly identified and addressed issues I'd been struggling with, like hand pain and an uncomfortable overall position. Even though my bike fit was already pretty good, Matt made meticulous fine adjustments that made a huge difference in how the bike feels. He was patient, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about getting me set up correctly. I'm so happy with the results and can't recommend him enough. I had a great bike fitting experience with Matt at Bike x Fit. It was my first fitting, and I am a tall rider on a slightly undersized bike. I reached out initially for a consult on a new purchase, and Matt used his expertise to give me great advice on a new bike. Additionally he altered my setup to both emulate the bikes that interested me, and improve my comfort on my current setup. Matt had some great parts on-hand that were affordable and high-quality, so I was able to make the changes day of the visit. Matt was very communicative prior to my appointment, was timely and efficient during my visit, and has a great studio space. In a world of many big-brand bike retailers with fitters, it was nice going to a local business run by someone from The Bay, who had the knowledge and experience of Matt. I think one of my favorite parts was listening to Matt talk about how much he tinkers with his own fit, and how he brings that level of detail to his clients.

Matt was fantastic to work with. He really spend the time making sure all the measurements and fittings were correct. He also spent time explaining what was going on and why, and was great overall. Highly recommend for your bike fit!

Just had a revolutionary bike fit from Bike X Fit. New shoes and bike for 2 bikes. First ride was great, no numbness in hands and felt like I was getting more power through my pedal stroke and getting my hips to open up. We also dropped the stem down 1.5 cm so for an older rider, who used to race, to look more pro...it's always a bonus while feeling better on the bike. Definitely would recommend Matt and his fitting services!
