WARNING!!! WARNING!!! WARNING!!! Do Not Buy Your Next Bike From This Company. You will regret it in the END. I basically purchased a bike from BIKESONLINE store. They sent me a "defective" bike through the mail. The "derailuer" was jacked up and malfunctioned. I took the bike to the local bike shop. When I took the bike in I told the guy the bike will not go by pedaling and the the derailuer is not working properly. The service guy said he had never seen a derailuer in such shape and this was very odd. I knew this was odd as I have purchased a bike from (BIKESONLINE) before. But my last bike got stolen. So, I was in the market to purchase another one. This time I purchased an upgraded version of the bike I previously had. The updated version price was a little more then the one I had previously had bought. The sales man at "BIKESONLINE" seemed to be a little upset at the fact that I knew my stuff when it comes to bikes and previously I had been catching him in all of his lies about the bikes he was trying to sell me. He got so mad that he took it upon himself to sabotage the bike before sending it to me. (derailuer defective) (pedal defective) Back to the local bike shop sequence.... The guys at the local bike shop calls me the next day and say you can come pick up your bike. I go pick up the bike and take it home. I take the bike out a couples of days later. This time the pedal falls right out of the screw. WOW I calls bikesonline and let them know this bike is defective and not only did I try to fix it but other things are falling apart on the bike. I asked them what can we do about this situation? As the derailuer is still making some kind of noises with the chain and the pedal just fail out. They responded by sending me to different people in different departments. At this point I'm frustrated and I ask to speak to the manager. The guy tells me the manager doesn't want to come to the phone and that he didn't know what to do at this point. I then told the guy at (BIKESONLINE) I just want a full refund for this defective bike. They agreed that I was having not just one issue but many issues with the defective bike and that they would refund me. I told them I no longer have the box for the bike to return it. How do you suggest I return your defective bike? They told me to go to the local bikeshop and ask them for one of their bike boxes. So I did just that. I put the bike in the box and returned it. Now these guys are trying to take $1,500 from me saying that I didn't package the bike up properly and they have to charge me for the damage to the frame. Because I knew they would try to do something like this. Corrupt Manager Name: Lewis C. Corrupt Salesman: Ryan Stock I took pictures of the bike before sending the bike off to BIKESONLINE. Now I have to get my law firm involved and have them go after these guys. Save yourselves sometime and DON'T buy a bike from BIKESONLINE. You will thank me later. Your Welcome The Good Guy

When the bike showed up the box was completely open and all the parts were strewn about the box. I'm not sure why, when, or where the box was opened and rifled through, but after sorting through the mess I found all the parts were there and was able to assemble the bike. UPDATE: After less than one month of riding the bike has begun to LITERALLY FALL APART!!! My rear cassette came loose, which was no big deal other than I had to buy a specialty tool to tighten it, but after tightening (and having a local bike shop look at it) the freehub has developed a rattle and according to the bike shop is due to a defective part. Second, the left crank FELL OFF. I'm not sure how or why this happened but about half the teeth on the inside of the crank arm are worn away (see pictures below). My biggest issue is not that these problems occurred but the time and manner in which they are being addressed. The bike arrived to me on 9/14/2020. I first submitted a ticket on 10/10/2020 and as of today 10/22/2020 (12 days) still have not had anything close to an acceptable solution. They had me take it to a local bike shop, which told me the issues and obviously charged me for their service, and even after informing Bikes Online about the report from the local shop Bikes Online want me to send them back the rear wheel for their mechanic to look at without sending me a replacement. They also are having trouble understanding the issue with the crank despite sending pictures showing the defective part. IN SHORT: MY BIKE HAS FALLEN APART AND IT'S LIKE PULLING TEETH TO GET THEM TO FIX IT. UPDATE 2: After a few weeks of back and forth I finally just purchased a new crank and requested that they reimburse me for it, which they did. I just wish the whole experience would have been easier. As for the rear wheel I am just going to live with it for the time being since I don't want to be without my bike for probably 3-4 weeks while it gets shipped down to them.

Ordering the bike online was easy and worked out great. All the info online checked out and the bike was delivered mostly on time and was easy to setup just like I expected. My biggest complaint is that I waited too long to order and the model with the dropper post wasn't available but then I didn't want to wait even longer to get that one, so I ordered the D7 without dropper post just so I could get my first new bike in almost 20 years. If it wasn't for the pandemic issues getting things delivered, I'm sure I would've been even happier with that other model. Thanks! One of the photos attached shows the difference between 2000 and 2020 geometry. I'm blown away!

I just bought two bikes from bikesonline. One of them came with a defective rear derailleur that jammed and broke on my second ride. I contacted bikeonline customer support to file a warranty claim. The claim requirements, process and timeline where so outrageously ridiculous that I simply decided to buy the part and fix it myself. I will not be buying a bike from them in the future. Really poor customer service and questionable quality on the bikes they sell. You have been warned
