My husband and I were looking to buy e-bikes. A friend recommended PMW! I have to say it was the best experience ever. Rick is very knowledgeable and took us on the best bike tour with the e-bikes. It was great fun. No pressure sales. Aaron the owner is very knowledgeable as well. He wasn't trying to sell us something we didn't need. They both spent quite a bit of time with us explaining the in and outs of e-bikes as it was so foreign to us. We greatly appreciate the time and honesty. We ended up purchasing an Velotric Discover 2. I love it. If your looking for a new ebike, I highly recommend Petaluma Motor Wheel. Thank you Rick and Aaron. Looking forward to riding. 🚲🚲

This is a fabulous ebike shop. So I have written a long review to recommend Petaluma Motor Wheel. I ordered a very custom ebike from Canada and did not have a pro ebike mechanic to help me with final assembly. You see, I am a senior with hand limitations due to arthritis and wrenching any heavy duty bolts tortures my hands. This purchase was my 3rd Ebike so I am knowledgeable and I can do smaller adjustments. I called numerous Ebike shops/stores in Sonoma County who really just dealers selling branded E-bikes and frankly, were not interested in my high end foldable Ebike on order that they didn’t represent. Then I called Petaluma Motor Wheel and Erin, the shop owner and experienced mechanic responded like an independent shop and right away he agreed to schedule the final assembly. I supported the shop and purchased add ons like grips, a MIK adapter plate for the rear rack and mirror for getting the bike street ready and we communicated by email to nail down the final assembly mods. It took 60 days for my bike to arrive by courier…the same week I brought the 85% assembled Ebike to Erin and he spent 4 hours inspecting the bike, truing the wheels, mounting the seat, adjusting the brakes etc. while I watched and as he also made pointers and suggestions for the break-in all along the way. It was an excellent job at a very reasonable cost. Erin made the bike safe and ready for the road. I have never received that TLC treatment in a VIP way before. Erin is a gem and a and he carries some beautiful e-bikes. I particularly loved the cargo bikes. You will not go wrong with Petaluma Motor Wheel. The customer service is impeccable and absolutely fun.

Aaron is a great guy. Trust is key whenever dealing with a business, and I trust Aaron fully. If you're looking for an electric bike, you should definitely check out his shop. Highly recommend. I bought my 2024 Specialized Turbo Levo from him/them. Love it..!

Great selection of e-bikes! The staff was very friendly, patient and explained everything we needed to know in detail. They also helped us enter information for the manufacturers promotional deal on a second battery. Very impressed and will be coming back for all future maintenance!

I'm in Santa Rosa but am happy I went to Petaluma to purchase my first e-bike. I got the Aventon Pace and love it! The price was the same as straight from the dealer and PMW honored a sale that the manufacturer was having so I got a deal AND got to support local. The owner is active in the Sonoma County bicycling community and I appreciate seeing him at local events. I found the staff very knowledgeable and appreciated the help and them letting me test ride several models to get the right one. I'd happily buy from them again!
