Super kind, knowledgable team and owner. I came down for the week and forgot my SRAM charger. They helped out, gave me the lay of the land, and got me back on the road. If you are in Carmel, Carmel Valley, etc, I would highly recommend them!

Rob took time out of his already busy day to help me out with a misaligned brake system on my son's new bike for Christmas. Not only did he diagnose and fix the problem right then and taught me how to do it myself for future potential problems, he refused payment and just responded, "Merry Christmas." It is service, professionalism, and just downright kindness like this that has solidified Carmel Bicycles as my forever go-to bike shop/repair.

Rocked up mid cycle tour (SF to LA) with a bike that was WAY too small. Because of the bad weight distribution I had lost all feeling in my hands and struggling to change gears/brake as my fingers were getting weak. The guy helped me setup a slightly sketchy, improvised bullhorn setup that I ran all the way back to LA with no issues! No charge, he was just a good dude who probably took pity on me and my poor life decisions. Really appreciated the kindness, I would 100% go back and give him some actual business if I lived locally.

Rob, with a more than a drop of dour humour, sorted me right out when I rocked up to his shop near closing time. He gave me advice, support, bike parts, supervision as I changed my brakes, and some chit chat that really turned my day around. He pretends he's not interested, but don't let that fool you. Top choice of bike store in the region!!! Rob - that gear shifter lasted till San Francisco, and even London UK!

This is NOT the closest bike shop to me. It is, however, MY bike shop! When I've needed major work done on my Trek ( a great brand, thankyouverymuch!) they have taken care of me on time, and within the quoted price range. I've no issues with them, their pricing, or their service. Ride ON!!
